I FIORI E LA PRIMAVERA - FLOWERS AND SPRING

"You can cut the flowers, but you cannot stop the coming of spring".

For the english version:

"You can cut the flowers, but you cannot stop the coming of spring".

With these words the young parliamentary Malalai Joya ends her speeches in many places in the world where she is invited to talk (but also when at home, in Afghanistan), I started to know her since short time, through her writings and speeches online.

In front of so much determination as it is possible to realize by the reading of her speeches, almost all times obstructed by the powerful people of the moment (and this “moment” is lasting few decades now) I have to send her my solidarity and my personal closeness, of thought and of action.

Truly this our planet, this world, planet Earth that holds us and feeds us, could have such a different and better aspect if the examples like Malalai Joya were not just few rare beautiful flowers but were unlimited grasses and fields of daisies and violets, numerous like the stars in firmament.

With admiration of the courage of Malalai Joya and of her daily struggle for justice and democracy I write this short message, a witness that freedom of individual conscience needs to show outside, to make itself heard, to make it possible that other very beautiful flowers, more and more numerous, could blossom and make them be admired, in their unique beauty.

Brava Joya, I admire you very much and I hope that also few words could let you feel not isolated in your difficult daily life.

Ciao.

Marco

I love this site much...
The main "When they say about the universal power of smile and of inner peace."

As the poet. Francis Thompson expresses it:

"All things by immortal power
Near and far hiddenly
To each other linked are
Thou cannot stir a flower
Without troubling of a star."

with much luv.
