Stiamo attraversando in Italia un momento storico-sociale particolare. Nuove probabili prossime consultazioni elettorali, elezioni politiche anticipate o ravvicinate, partiti politici decotti ed invecchiati dopo decenni di stancante conduzione della cosa pubblica.

Dove sono le idee nuove? Possibile che non si muova qualche cosa nuova ed entusiasmante nella vita pubblica italiana? Forse si, magari si, speriamo si.

Un accenno di novità lo fornisce un sondaggio effettuato dalla SWG e pubblicato online da affaritaliani.it: la grande novità che si intravede nei risultati del sondaggio non sono gli antichi partiti che ancora vorrebbero avere la mano sul pulsante. La grande novità è il MOVIMENTO CINQUE STELLE coordinato e fondato da Beppe Grillo e da tutti i cittadini italiani che si sono riconosciuti nel suo "non"statuto.

Ebbene, il sondaggio pubblicato della SWG indica che a Gennaio 2012 le preferenze di voto degli italiani si volgerebbero verso il Movimento 5 Stelle di Beppe Grillo nella misura del 7,5%.

Si, il sette virgola cinque per cento. E mi sento di credere che la percentuale indicata non potrà fare altro che crescere in queste prossime settimane e mesi.

Vedremo pubblicato questo sondaggio anche nei maggiori quotidiani italiani, online e non online? Magari in prima pagina? Intanto lo pubblico io nel blog.

Gli italiani alla ricerca di una davvero nuova chiara proposta sono tanti e sono in crescita, continua, non arrestabile.

VIVA L'ISLANDA - UP WITH ICELAND

Nel silenzio assordante dei Media ufficiali e tradizionali, TV, radio, giornali quotidiani, ecco che soltanto la rete Internet ed il mondo dei Blog riesce ad infrangere un muro di gomma di non informazione sul cambiamento radicale in atto nello Stato chiamato ISLANDA.

Da ormai il 2009 i cittadini islandesi uniti da un orgoglio nazionale di ritrovata volontà di rinnovamento pubblico contro una cattiva ammistrazione pubblica ed una organizzazione finanziaria fallimentare hanno manifestato con assiduità e determinazione contro il governo in carica fino a costringerlo alle dimissioni.

Hanno richiesto e votato due referendum popolari contro la restituzione del debito finanziario costruito dalle banche islandesi a favore di Stati esteri e contro un suo pagamento anche dilazionato nel tempo, a danno ed a carico delle generazioni islandesi future.

Hanno creato una nuova assemblea nazionale con anche la partecipazione diretta di 25 semplici cittadini islandesi per la riscrittura della Carta Costituzionale islandese, che tenesse in debito conto delle esperienze sofferte in questi ultimi anni, per evitare un loro ripetersi.

Hanno votato una legge che disponga lo sviluppo delle fonti rinnovabili per coprire il fabbisogno energetico nazionale per il 99,99 per cento.

Islanda quindi come esempio luminoso da seguire anche in altre parti del mondo di cittadinanza "attiva", di partecipazione diretta di ogni singolo cittadino alla vita pubblica e politica del proprio paese.

Senza deleghe in bianco o in chiaro-scuro ad alcuno.

Perchè non anche qui da noi in Italia? Perchè non cominciare a parlarne noi blogger per primi nei nostri spazi online?

Informiamoci e teniamoci informati, uno con l'altro, diffondendo geometricamente l'informazione, altrove sicuramente negata e taciuta.

La libera informazione è cosa davvero preziosa e da proteggere. Sono trascorsi e finiti i tempi dell'ignoranza voluta e costretta. Oggi sono i tempi della libera informazione, specialmente quella online!

OVUNQUE NEL TEMPO - SOMEWHERE IN TIME

Partecipando alla discussione sul blog amico http://sempreunpoadisagio.blogspot.com sono stato trasportato nel ricordo di un film del 1980 da me scoperto con sorpresa nel 1981. Da quel momento mi è rimasto impresso nell'anima come uno dei miei film preferiti in assoluto.

Parlo del film "Ovunque nel tempo" con attori protagonisti il celebre Christopher Reeve (il Superman dei primordi) e Jane Seymour.

La sorpresa nello scoprire la bellezza e la magia del film furono superati dalla sensazione reale e vissuta di capire il sentimento di amore puro che la storia ed i protagonisti riuscivano a fare uscire dallo schermo per raggiungere gli spettatori sin dentro l'anima e la mente.

Di questo sono testimone diretto. Ho provato la magia d'amore che la storia voleva narrare dentro di me. VOTARE I REFERENDUM

IL MARE E' CHIUSO IL 12 E IL 13 GIUGNO!!!

Tra pochi giorni saranno svolti quattro referendum in Italia, il 12 ed il 13 Giugno, per quattro diversi quesiti.

Il primo quesito: Modalità di affidamento e gestione dei servizi pubblici locali di rilevanza economica. Abrogazione

Il secondo quesito: Determinazione della tariffa del servizio idrico integrato in base all'adeguata remunerazione del capitale investito. Abrogazione parziale di norma

Il terzo quesito: Norma per la realizzazione nel territorio nazionale di impianti di produzione di energia nucleare. Abrogazione

Il quarto quesito: Norme della legge 7 aprile 2010, n. 51, in materia di legittimo impedimento del Presidente del Consiglio dei Ministri e dei Ministri a comparire in udienza penale. Abrogazione

Fra questi rimane ancora valido il quesito sulle centrali nucleari in Italia, in quanto in data odierna la Corte di Cassazione ha confermato lo svolgimento del referendum, anche se per decreto legge del 25 Maggio 2011 il parlamento ed il governo avevano tentato uno "stralcio" dell'argomento sulle centrali nucleari.

A dispetto di antichi e nuovi suggerimenti di non andare a votare ma di andare al mare ecco che sarebbe bello vedere nuovamente in Italia una forte partecipazione a queste prossime votazioni referendarie, per raggiungere un quorum del 50 per cento più uno degli aventi diritto al voto, per rendere validi i referendum. Sarebbe una bella pagina per la democrazia in Italia vedere nuovamente i cittadini italiani attenti a questi argomenti importanti per la vita della società intera.

Andiamo a votare! Non andiamo al mare il 12 ed il 13 Giugno 2011. Il mare è chiuso in quei due giorni!

Il Relatore
Pietro Archiati è nato nel 1944 a Capriano del Colle, Brescia.
Ha studiato teologia e filosofia alla Gregoriana di Roma e più tardi all’Università statale di Monaco di Baviera. E’ stato insegnante nel Laos durante gli anni più duri della guerra del Vietnam (1968-70). Dal 1974 al 1976 ha vissuto a New York nell’ambito dell’ordine missionario nel quale era entrato all’età di dieci anni. Nel 1977, durante un periodo di eremitaggio sul lago di Como, ha scoperto gli scritti di Rudolf Steiner, la cui scienza dello spirito – destinata a diventare la grande passione della sua vita – indaga non solo il mondo sensibile, ma anche quello invisibile.
Dal 1987 vive in Germania come libero professionista, indipendente da qualsiasi tipo di istituzione, pubblica libri e tiene conferenze e convegni in vari Paesi.
I suoi libri sono dedicati allo spirito libero di ogni essere umano, alle sue inesauribili risorse conoscitive e morali.

Si può partecipare all’intero convegno o a singole conferenze, senza iscrizione o prenotazione.

IL COLORE VIOLA - THE COLOUR PURPLE

Il colore viola è conosciuto come il colore dello spirito. Dona forza spirituale ed ispirazione. Come sintesi dei colori rosso carminio e del blu ciano ecco che il colore viola offre una sintesi tra terra e cielo, tra passione ed intelligenza, tra amore e saggezza. La passione e l'irruenza del rosso incontra la tranquillità e la trascendenza del blu, generando la temperanza del viola. Unione di corpo e spirito, origina il carattere duplice della tonalità, simbolo poi di trasformazione alchemica.

Nella visione di Steiner il viola è:…"il supremo nucleo metafisico che ne sottolinea la complexio oppositorum, la dimensione che va oltre quella fisica, la natura sfuggente ed inafferrabile, l’aspetto trascendente.” (Steiner- L’essenza dei colori. Antroposofica-Mi 1997).

Il colore viola emerge nei disegni dei bambini, dona agli spiriti la possibilità di esprimersi, di esprimere una energia atavica, esprimeva l'attesa di un cambiamento o un rinnovo anche da parte degli antichi romano-cristiani.

Il viola nei sogni enfatizza il dolore e la sofferenza, la mancanza, la privazione, indica la possibilità di una visione al di là della superficie e la ricerca del superamento del quotidiano, dell'ordinario, del materiale.

Ecco allora che come tante altre cose di questo nostro mondo aggrovigliato la scelta del colore viola per la manifestazione di volontà in Italia a Roma domani 5 dicembre 2009 contro l'attuale presidente del consiglio in Italia appare profetica. Appare ormai maturo il tempo per cui ogni persona si stacchi dalla poltrona e smetta di dormire il sonno degli ignavi.

LA MATEMATICA NON E' UN'OPINIONE

In Iran lo scorso 28 ottobre 2009 si celebrava la vittoria di alcuni studenti iraniani nelle olimpiadi studentesche, ognuno nella sua materia. Il ventenne Mahmud Vahidnia era il campione olimpico di matematica, vincitore nella sua specialità fatta di numeri e logica.

Cosa ha spinto Mahmud a richiedere la possibilità di parola e di fronte a tutta l'assemblea, presente la guida suprema iraniana Ali Khamenei, ad interlocuire con lui ed a porgli alcune scomode domande?

Non futili domande ma domande sulla possibilità di critica alla guida suprema stessa, domande sulla conduzione della TV e della radio di Stato, domande sul clima di polizia che cinge la stampa in Iran, domande sulla struttura di potere del Consiglio dei Guardiani e l'Assemblea degli Esperti.

Dove si trova ora a soli pochi giorni di distanza dalle sue domande pubbliche Mahmud Vahidnia, coraggioso studente che ha dato voce ad un dissenso sommerso? Non se ne hanno ancora notizie, si spera in bene per lui.

Davvero a me sembra che la logica matematica in molti casi prepari alla vita, a farsi domande non eludibili, a richiedere risposte precise e non disperse nel silenzio della paura.

La matematica non è un'opinione, anche se tante volte con la forza si cerca di dimostrare il contrario.

MATHEMATICS IS NOT ONE OPINION

In Iran last october 28th 2009 it was celebrated the victory of some iranian students in the student olympics, each one in their subject.Twenty years old Mahmud Vahidnia was the olympic champion of mathematics, winner of his speciality made of numbers and logic.

What did push Mahmud to request the possibility of speech and in front of whole assembly, with the presence of the supreme guide Ali Khamenei, to talk with him and to ask him some uncomfortable questions?
Not silly questions but questions about the possibility of critic to the supreme guide himself, questions about the guide of TV and public radio of State, questions about the police climate that surrounds the press in Iran, questions about the power structure of the Guardian Consilium and of Experts Assembly.
Where is now Mahmud Vahidnia only few days of distance since his public questions, brave student that gave voice to an undeclared dissention? No news about him, hope for his good.
Really it seems to me that mathematical logic in many cases prepares to life, to ask questions not escapable, to request exact answers and to do not disperse them in the silence of fear.

MARCO PANNELLA SENATORE A VITA

Durante gli ultimi sei giorni siamo stati testimoni dell'ultimo sciopero della fame e della sete di Marco Pannella, figura unica in Italia nel nostro panorama politico. Ieri sera finalmente, dopo aver accettato di sospendere la sua azione non-violenta ed aver bevuto nuovamente un pò di succo di pompelmo è stato accolto nella trasmissione televisiva "Anno Zero" di Michele Santoro, su RAI2. In TV ho riconosciuto nel volto sconvolto e nella fatica del corpo la passione che vivifica la vita di Marco Pannella, il suo chiedere il rispetto delle regole democratiche "vere" e non il supino rassegnarsi di fronte alle omissioni del "conoscere per deliberare": è cosa nota e verificata in un sondaggio di questi giorni il dato del 3 per cento soltanto di conoscenza degli elettori italiani delle liste come quella di Emma Bonino e di Marco Pannella, quando di recente i maggiori partiti politici italiani hanno approvato lo sbarramento del 4 per cento per partecipare al parlamento europeo. Io sento di voler proporre con voce determinata l'elezione di Marco Pannella a senatore a vita nel parlamento italiano, un riconoscimento alla sua vita politica che l'attuale presidente della repubblica Giorgio Napolitano potrebbe a buon diritto riservare a Marco Pannella, spesso voce vera errante nel deserto. Questi prossimi giorni di maggio, precisamente dall'8 al 10 maggio 2009, a Roma presso la facoltà di Economia della Università "La Sapienza", avrà luogo il nuovo convegno di Pietro Archiati avente ad oggetto l'uomo, essere vivente fra angeli, demoni e spiriti della natura.

In un mondo di oggi sempre più materialista sembra veramente una nuova fiaba infantile quella di pensare e parlare di esseri invisibili della natura, dei fondamentali elementi quali l'aria, la terra, l'acqua ed il fuoco. Sembra una storia di fantasia infinita quella di prevedere nuovamente, in una forma originale per la modernità scientifica, l'esistenza di angeli e demoni, esseri di luce e di spirito che sono divenuti inesistenti alle menti ed ai sensi inutilizzati degli esseri umani.

Ecco che con questo convegno si propone una nuova esperienza di pensiero e di approccio a questi mondi spirituali invisibili ai sensi allenati dalla materia fisica, un pensiero sicuramente razionale che offra nuovi spunti di approfondimento e di ricerca.

Oggi è il 13 marzo 2009, venti anni orsono il ricercatore inglese Tim Berners Lee presentò al CERN di Ginevra un primo progetto per sviluppare il collegamento online ipertestuale fra documenti diversi. Ciò che prima veniva normalmente spedito e letto online erano solo elenchi lunghi e monotoni di titoli e di parole chiave, nero su bianco e neanche a colori, documenti noiosi ed ufficiali, sperando che le parole chiave usate per rimandare da uno all'altro rimanessero quelle che ci erano venute in mente per trovare il tesoro nascosto.

Nasceva il codice WWW, il "world wide web", la ragnatela grande quanto il mondo, il reticolo di notizie e di informazioni che invece che servire il mondo militare da una idea civile faceva il percorso inverso: nato per scopi militari trovava invece nel mondo civile, sociale e commerciale il suo sviluppo più rigoglioso ed innovativo.

Oggi, a venti anni di distanza, ringrazio Tim e tutti gli altri ricercatori di ogni squadra scientifica per i loro sforzi. E' anche tramite loro che oggi riusciamo a sentirci una grande famiglia planetaria, unioni europee, americane, asiatiche e di ogni continente a parte.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR WEB

Today it is march 13th 2009, twenty years ago the english searcher Tim Berners Lee presented to CERN in Genevre a first project to develop one hypertext online connection among different documents. What before was normally sent and read online they were only long and boring lists of titles and key-words, black onto white and not even colours, noisy and official documents, hoping that the used key-words to return from each other were still those that we had in mind to find the hiding treasure.

It was born the WWW code, the "world wide web", the spider's web large as the world, the net of news and informations that instead to serve the military world starting from one civil idea it was doing the contrary step: born for military purposes it found in the civil world, on the contrary, its utmost luxuriant and innovative development.

Today, after twenty years of distance, I thank Tim and all the other searchers of any scientific team for their efforts. It is also thru them that today we are able to feel as a large planetary family, european, american, asiatic and any other continent's unions apart.

GIORNATA MONDIALE CONTRO LA CYBER CENSURA

Oggi giovedì 12 marzo 2009 è la giornata mondiale contro la censura online. Questa doverosa presa di coscienza e di posizione è stata lanciata da "Reporters without borders", giornalisti senza frontiere e neanche ristrettezze politiche o mentali.
Anche io aderisco a questa giornata di libertà di espressione e di pensiero, di parola e di autonomia individuale.

Purtroppo ancora troppi paesi sono ancora sotto il controllo di governi autoritari e non disposti a lasciare questa libertà di pensiero, e la cosa sorprendente è che anche in paesi che si ritiene essere democratici si teme una limitazione di libertà di espressione di un pensiero libero, come per esempio in Australia, in Corea del sud ed ora temo anche nel mio paese, l'Italia, dove stanno progettando delle nuove leggi che limiteranno moltissimo la libertà di uso di Internet.

La mia goccia nel mare del pensiero autonomo ed individuale, contro ogni imposizione autoritaria e contro la libertà di espressione. Avanti verso una evoluzione del bene in tutta la famiglia umana universale.

Today thursday 12th march 2009 is the world day against the online censorship. This proper conscious and position stand was taken by "Reporters without borders", journalists without borders and without political and mental narrowness.
I also join to this day of expression and thought freedom, of individual autonomy and of word.

Unfortunately still too many countries are under the control of authoritarian governments not able to leave this freedom of thinking, and the surprising thing is that also in countries that we consider democratic we fear a freedom restriction of expression of a free thought, like for example in Australia, in South Korea and now I fear also in my country, Italy, where they are preparing new laws that will limit so much the freedom of internet use.

My drop inside the sea of independent and individual thinking, against each autoritarian imposition and against the freedom of expression. Forward towards one evolution of good in whole human universal family.

Autodeterminazione a rischio

In Italia in questi giorni siamo testimoni attoniti e sgomenti di operazioni politiche e parlamentari che stravolgono e vorranno stravolgere sempre di più la libertà di scelta individuale per la propria vita ed il principio sacro (nel più alto senso del termine, dal punto di vista umano) dell'autodeterminazione personale.

Partendo dal caso mediatico così tanto esaltato da una informazione italiana pubblica e privata a senso unico (nel senso non rispettosa delle idee diverse da quelle al governo in Italia in questo momento) si sta cercando di strumentalizzare come un grimaldello il caso triste della donna italiana Eluana Englaro in stato vegetativo da 17 anni (aveva 21 anni quando entrò in coma per incidente stradale) che si è spenta lo scorso 9 febbraio dopo numerose sentenze giudiziarie ed interventi medici, su atto propulsivo e di amore del papà Beppino Englaro.

E' una verità di nuovo sotto gli occhi di tutti quella che grida la mancanza di rispetto e di attenzione da parte della maggioranza politica oggi al governo in Italia: malgrado il fatto che la maggioranza dei cittadini italiani sia mossa da sentimenti di solidarietà e di comprensione per la decisione di Beppino Englaro di interrompere lo stato vegetativo di Eluana che prima dell'incidente gli aveva con chiarezza dichiarato (stringendo con il padre un patto di sangue) di essere contraria ad ogni eventuale accanimento terapeutico o sanitario collegato a qualsivoglia strumentazione artificiale ecco che le TV, i maggiori giornali e quasi tutti i mass-media hanno attaccato il fine vita di Eluana ed il suo corollario di autodeterminazione individuale.

La legge sul testamento biologico che in Italia è da anni in attesa di una discussione e di una approvazione parlamentare è ora a rischio dell'emotività popolare ad arte provocata e guidata dai vari programmi ed articoli scritti e prodotti a senso unico. Si vuole da parte della parte governativa oggi in Italia impedire la decisione individuale sulla propria salute e malattia; si vuole rendere inapplicabile una espressa decisione scritta su tale eventualità rendendo obbligatorio un rinnovo ogni tre anni del documento presso un notaio e con la presenza del proprio medico curante; si vuole svuotare di valore tale atto notarile ufficiale affermando che comunque tale documento potrà essere NON VINCOLANTE presso il medico curante.

Propongo per le persone di buona volontà la visione del breve intervento (solo pochi minuti di videoclip) del senatore Umberto Veronesi, noto oncologo italiano di fama internazionale, che da più di 50 anni si adopera per la cura e la guarigione dei malati di cancro: chi più di lui riesce a trovare parole di umana pietà e di umana considerazione per il dolore altrui?

Un grave peccato che i pensieri e le parole di persone sagge ed illuminate debbano raramente trovare la luce e l'ascolto di tutti, avendo l'ostacolo e non l'aiuto dell'informazione professionista.

SELF-DETERMINATION AT RISK

In Italy during these days we are astonished and dismayed witnesses of political and parlamentary operations that distort and will twist more and more the individual freedom of choice for own life and the sacred principle (in the highest sense of the word, from a human viewpoint) of personal self-determination.

Starting by the media case so much excited by one private and public italian information in "one way only" (in the sense of not respectful of different ideas from those of government in Italy at this moment) they are trying to use as instrument and as a picklock the sad case of the italian woman Eluana Englaro in vegetative status since 17 years time (she had 21 years when entered the coma status because of car accident) that died last 9th february after many justice sentences and medical participations and interventions, by the propeller and loving act of dad Beppino Englaro.

It is a truth again in front of eyes of us all the one truth that screams the lack of respect and of attention by the political majority today at government in Italy: despite the fact that the majority of italian citizens is moved by solidarity and comprehension feelings for the decision of Beppino Englaro to stop the vegetative status of Eluana that before the car accident just declared him with clearness (keeping a blood pact with her dad) to be against any eventual therapeutic or sanitary perseverance connected with any artificial instrument so they come any TV, the main newspapers and almost all mass-media that attached the end of life of Eluana and its corollary of self-determination.

The law about biological testament that is waited for in Italy since years for a parlamentary discussion and approval is now at risk of the popular emotionalism provoked by art and guided by the various programs and articles written and produced "one way". They want from the government that today is present in Italy to prevent the individual decision about own health and illness; they want to reduce as not applicable one express written decision about this possibility making it compulsory the renewal each three years of the document in a notary's office and with the presence of own personal doctor; they want to empty of values this act in the notary's office saying that anyway this document will HAVE NOT ANY OBLIGATION to the personal doctor.

I propose for the good will persons the vision of the short speech (only few minutes of videoclip) of the senator Umberto Veronesi, wellknown italian doctor against cancer of international fame, that since more of 50 years is helping for the cure and the healing of cancer sick persons: who more than him is able to find the words of human mercy and human consideration for the pain of others?

A big sin that the thoughts and words of wise and enlighted persons should rarely find the light and the listening of us all, having the obstacle and not the help of the professional information people.

IL GIOCO DELLA VITA

Chi di noi non ricorda le parole udite tante volte dai nostri maestri e professori durante gli anni della scuola? "Lo sport prepara al domani, lo sport fortifica il fisico e la mente, lo sport insegna la vita".

Gli stessi antichi padri latini nel loro puro interpretare il valore dello spirito umano espresso nel gesto atletico leale e di valore avevano coniato il detto: "mens sana in corpore sano", la mente può solo avere giovamento dall'esercizio fisico, una salute mentale per una salute fisica.

Ed eccoci giungere alla notizia di questi giorni che ha attirato la mia attenzione: lo scorso 13 gennaio una squadra di basket di giovani ragazze di liceo americano (un piccolo liceo di soli - così ho letto - venti studenti) il Dallas Academy ha tradotto il pensiero dello sport come lezione di vita fino in fondo, malgrado le difficoltà, in modo tale da venire notato dai media nazionali americani (ed internazionali).

Con la inconsapevole collaborazione della giovane squadra di basket femminile avversaria (la Covenant School) dotata di addestrate giocatrici, ulteriormente incitate da un pubblico presente alla manifestazione sportiva avido di imprese da guiness dei primati, la Dallas Academy ha subito uno smaccato e sonoro punteggio finale, un tondo tondo cento a zero.

Due sono le dichiarazioni contrapposte che hanno acceso la miccia dell'interesse internazionale di noi tutti, una dell'allenatore della squadra vincente dell'incontro, mr. Micah Grimes e l'altra del responsabile della stessa scuola mr. Todd Doshier.

Mentre l'allenatore ha assecondato lo spirito agonistico della propria squadra fino al raggiungimento della vetta dei cento punti, il secondo ha invece inteso far prevalere l'interesse della persona umana nel suo complesso porgendo le sue scuse alla squadra avversaria del Dallas Academy e licenziando l'allenatore della propria squadra, la Covenant School, reo di essersi accalorato dietro i numeri e non dietro l'umanità delle persone in gioco.

Ed ecco le luci dei riflettori accese sulle giocatrici del Dallas Academy, intervistate dalle televisioni e portate alla ribalta per la loro impresa: aver giocato tutta la partita fino all'ultimo secondo facendo del loro meglio e poco curandosi della figuraccia.

Dalle loro parole riportate nelle interviste ecco leggere di aver apprezzato della possibilità offerta dall'incontro di migliorare le loro difficoltà nella difesa, ecco l'idea di essere pronte ad affrontare ben altre prove nella vita dopo aver vissuto con dignità ed onore una mortificante asprezza sportiva di una partita giocata al parossismo.

Anche io non posso che apprezzare il risalto che ora viene dato all'aspetto umano del dopo partita, dove il peso maggiore viene rimarcato per gli sconfitti dal punteggio ma vincitori nella vita.

THE GAME OF LIFE

Who among us is not remembering the so many times heard words coming from teachers and professors during the schoolyears? "Sport prepares to tomorrow, sport strenghts body and mind, sport teaches life".

Same ancient latin ancestors in their pure traslating the human spiritual value expressed in the loyal and valuable athletic gesture had coined the saying: "mens sana in corpore sano", the mind can have benefits only by physical exercise, a mental health for a physical health.

Here we come to the new of last days that captured my attention: last 13rd january a young girls basketball team of one american high school (a small high-school of only - so I read - twenty students) the Dallas Academy put into effect the thought of sport as school of life till the ultimate step, despite difficulties, in such a way to be noticed by national (and international too) american media.

With the unaware collaboration of the young female basketball opponent team (the Covenant School) endowed with trained players, furtherly incited by a present public to the sport event greedy of guinness record exploit, the Dallas Academy suffered a resonant and sonorous final score, a so round one hundred to zero.

They are two the facing declarations that started the fire of the international of us all, one of the trainer of the winning team of the match, mr. Micah Grimes and the other one of the person in charge of the same school mr. Todd Doshier.

Whereas the trainer went along with the competitive mind of own team until the reaching of the top of one hundred points of score, the second one made it to prevail the interest of the human person as a whole offering own excuses and pardon to the opponent team of Dallas Academy and firing the trainer of his own team, the Covenant School, guilty of being too passionate to numbers and not to humanity of players into the game.

Here they come the attention of floodlights turned on the players of Dallas Academy, interviewed by televisions and took on the front stage for their enterprise: having played until last second doing their best and not caring about the bad impression.

Starting by their words taken during the interviews we can read they appreciated the possibility that was offered to them by the match to improve their defence difficulties, here it comes the idea to be ready to face bigger difficulties in life tests after they lived with dignity and honour a mortifying sporting sourness of a match played until paroxysm.

I also can only appreciate the standing out that they give now to the human aspect of the "after game", where the main value is marked for the losers by the numbers but winners for life.

DESTINO E LIBERTA'

"I fatti della mia vita, gli incontri con le persone non avvengono a caso. C'è qualcuno che li sceglie in piena libertà e a ragion veduta. Questo qualcuno sono io stesso nel mio subconscio o per meglio dire nel mio "sovraconscio".
L'oriente parla da sempre di "karma" (destino) e intende con questo che in ognuno di noi c'è un "Io superiore" che ricorda tutto quello che abbiamo combinato in un lungo passato e in base ad esso programma l'avvenire. Ciò vuol dire che ogni cosa che mi capita, malattie e sventure comprese, è stata scelta liberamente da questo Io superiore - che sono poi io stesso - perchè è quanto c'è di meglio per favorire la mia crescita ulteriore.
Il destino di un uomo, il karma individuale della sua vita è il più grande amico della sua libertà. Amare la provvidenza vuol dire dichiararci d'accordo con tutto quello che ci capita, perchè è sempre il meglio per noi, se la libertà ha la saggezza e la forza di farne il suo meglio".

IL GRANDE GIOCO DELLA VITA - THE GREAT GAME OF LIFE

Oggi qui a Roma avrà inizio un interessante convegno dal titolo "Il grande gioco della vita", con relatore Pietro Archiati. Ogni convegno di Pietro è un evento per me: mi permette di interrompere il flusso di giorni simili gli uni agli altri, mi fa uscire di casa e dall'ufficio, mi fa fermare per qualche giorno a riflettere sul significato della vita e degli incontri fra gli esseri umani.

Da dove veniamo, chi siamo e dove andiamo continuano ad essere le domande fondamentali di tutti quegli esseri umani che hanno a cuore una vita riempita di significato, di uno scopo, di una tensione verso un futuro, la freccia che viene scoccata da un arco arguto e capace.

Invito con un incoraggiamento tutti coloro che saranno a Roma per questo fine settimana a fare una capatina per dare un'occhiatina e per porgere l'orecchio. Il pensiero espresso e collegato con un filo rosso con il pensiero di Rudolf Steiner - http://www.rudolfsteiner.it - ancora oggi è per me il pensiero che più di ogni altro risponde a queste domandine grandi come montagne.

Today here in Rome it will start one interesting meeting with the title "The great game of life", speaker is Pietro Archiati. Each meeting with Pietro is one event for me: it lets me to stop the flux of similar days to each other, it makes me to exit from house and office, it makes me to think for few days about the meaning of life and of the meetings among human beings.

I am translating from Spanish the text that appeared today in Yoani Sanchez Blog. She is a Cuban woman, one of the few that have venture into the bloggers world. The Cuban government have responded by restricting the access of her blog to Cubans.

This is her picture and her words

“I confess that I have given in to miss behaving. I rebel myself against orders, I look for lemons that do not appear, I demand for excuses that never arrive and, a great nonsense of mine, put my opinions in a Blog - with photo and name included. As you can see, with these thirty two years of age- I am so impertinent that is time for a corrective action on me.

So the anonymous censors of our famished cyberspace, have wanted to lock me up in a room, to extinguish the light and not let my friends inside. That, translated to the language of the internet, means to block my site, to filter my page, in short, “to puncture” the Blog so that my compatriots cannot read it. For two days Generation Y has been only an error message in the screen of many Cuban computers. Another site blocked for the monitored internet users of the Island.

My words, and that of others bloggers and digital journalists have made the staple of inquisitors do its ridiculous role. With these pretensions of rebellious adolescents, we have gained the slap on the face, the severe wink and the quarrel. Nevertheless, the reprimand is so useless that it’s a pity how easy is to circumvent and it turns into an incentive.”

“Confieso que me ha dado por portarme mal. Me rebelo ante las órdenes, busco limones que no aparecen, exijo disculpas que nunca llegan y, gran majadería la mía, pongo mis opiniones en un Blog -con foto y nombre incluidos-. Como ven, con estos treinta y dos años –tan impertinentes- ya me viene tocando un correctivo.

Así que los anónimos censores de nuestro famélico ciberespacio, han querido encerrarme en el cuarto, apagarme la luz y no dejar entrar a los amigos. Eso, convertido al lenguaje de la red, quiere decir bloquearme el sitio, filtrar mi página, en fin, “pinchar” el Blog para que mis compatriotas no puedan leerlo. Desde hace un par de días Generación Y es sólo un mensaje de error en la pantalla de muchas computadoras cubanas. Otro sitio bloqueado para los “monitoreados” internautas de la Isla.

Sin embargo, la reprimenda es tan inútil que da pena y tan fácil de burlar que se trueca en incentivo.”

LA MORATORIA UNIVERSALE CONTRO LA PENA DI MORTE

Giusto ieri, il 15 novembre 2007, la terza commissione dell’Assemblea delle Nazioni Unite ha votato la risoluzione L29 che chiede una moratoria universale delle esecuzioni capitali, avendo anche l’obiettivo di abolire la pena di morte completamente nel futuro.

Con le votazioni di 99 a favore della moratoria contro 52 e 33 astensioni ora finalmente un nuovo grande passo è compiuto verso la eliminazione delle sentenze capitali di morte. Prima o poi tutte le nazioni di questo mondo saranno chiamate dalla loro popolazione a eliminare le crudeli esecuzioni.

Ora la risoluzione andrà davanti l’assemblea generale dei 192 membri per un voto la prossima metà di dicembre.

Sono orgoglioso di dire e di scrivere che il governo e lo Stato italiano, in modo particolare con la buona volontà del Partito Radicale ha reso possibile e disponibile questo gigantesco passo, ora. Molte grazie a loro, ben fatto Italia, ben fatto!

GLOBAL MORATORIUM AGAINST DEATH PENALTY IS HERE!!!

Just yesterday, November 15^th 2007, the Assembly’s third committee of United Nations voted the resolution L29 calling for a global moratorium on executions, having also the goal to abolish the death penalty entirely in the future.

With the votations of 99 to 52 in favour of the moratorium and 33 abstentions now finally a new big step is done towards the delete of death sentences. Sooner or later all nations in this world will be called by their people to finish the cruel executions.

The resolution will now go before the full 192-member Assembly for a vote next middle December.

I am proud to say and to write that Italian government and State, with the particular good will of Radical Party made this big giant step possible and available, now. Thank you much to them, well done Italy, well done.

IL SUPER CERCHIO - THE SUPER GYRE

Tentiamo un viaggio verso le radici della vita sul pianeta Terra, dall'essere vivente marino più grande fino al più piccolo abitante marino, cibo per tutti gli altri, il plancton, come sarebbe il pane ed il riso per noi bipedi umani terraquei.

Ebbene, di tutti gli studiosi che da anni studiano la vita negli oceani del nostro pianeta ecco che primi fra tutti arrivano il professor Ken Ridgway ed il professor Jeff Dunn con il loro team australiano del Commonwealth Science and Industrial Research Organization a scoprire l'arcano, le origini delle correnti marine profonde (a circa mille metri di profondità) che tutte insieme regolano il clima sul pianeta Terra e conducono fra le loro braccia amorevoli, ora calde ora fredde, le colonie di plancton e la vita dei micro-organismi, cibo primario per eccellenza di tutta la catena alimentare animale marina.

In attesa di avere la conferma ufficiale di tutto il mondo accademico ufficiale mondiale ecco che riporto la scoperta dei due professori australiani: dopo decenni di studi, di analisi della salinità di innumerevoli campioni di acqua marina in ogni dove di tutti gli oceani del mondo sin dal 1950 fino al 2002, si è ritenuto da parte dei ricercatori di avere rintracciato vicino l'isola di Tasmania e lungo le coste sud-occidentali australiane il punto cruciale ove svariate possenti profonde correnti marine oceaniche confluiscono in un unico flusso nelle buie profondità che da solo poi sarebbe in grado di muovere ed indirizzare le masse di acqua in correnti profonde in tutti gli oceani del mondo, a partire da quello indiano e quello pacifico, per poi diramarsi in tutto il pianeta e formare quello che gli esperti e studiosi del ramo chiamano il "super cerchio".

Come in un palazzo a molti piani nel centro di una grande metropoli ecco che nei vasti oceani esistono diverse correnti che si muovono a piani diversi, a diversi metri di profondità, oppure sullo strato superficiale delle acque. Quelle che ora sono state studiate sono quelle alle maggiori profondità, verso i mille metri di profondità.

Il movimento di queste correnti di acqua fredda oppure calda veramente sarebbero in grado di influenzare il clima in tutto il mondo variando le temperature e di favorire o ostacolare la vita negli oceani. A partire dalle grandi masse di ghiaccio in via di scioglimento delle distese artiche ed in Groenlandia, ove si è notata una notevole diminuzione della quantità di plancton.

Mercoledì scorso i ricercatori del CSIRO hanno pubblicato i risultati dei loro studi con la mappa precisa della rotta attraverso cui il sistema di correnti dell'oceano Pacifico si riversa nell'oceano Indiano e, seguendo una stretta via tra costa sud australiana e quella neo-zelandese e calando poi verso la punta meridionale dell'isola di Tasman, risale di nuovo verso l'Oceano Indiano.

E' senza dubbio vero che le conoscenze dei fenomeni naturali sono di grande aiuto per la conservazione dell'equilibrio ecologico sulla terra e sono un aiuto per la vita. Questa nuova conoscenza potrà di nuovo superare il prossimo ostacolo che si profila all'orizzonte: non solo i grandi cambiamenti climatici che ci vedono testimoni in questi ultime stagioni ma anche il prossimo problema del possibile modificarsi del flusso spiralato delle correnti per la grande nuova immissione di acqua dolce entro l'acqua salata degli oceani. Ciò è dovuto allo scioglimento progressivo dei ghiacciai perenni. Il meccanismo della grande corrente marina globale (Great Ocean Conveyor Belt) si basa proprio sulla differenza tra la temperatura e la salinità dell'acqua.

Restiamo in attesa dei prossimi eventi, non allentando la nostra attenzione sulla circolazione profonda della vita, sulla quale noi tutti esseri umani restiamo ancorati per la nostra sopravvivenza.

THE SUPER GYRE

Let's try a journey towards the roots of life on planet Earth, starting from the biggest marine living being until the smallest marine inhabitant, food for all others, the plankton, like it should be the bread and the rice for us humans water-earth two-feet.

Anyway, of all the searchers that study since years the life in the oceans of our planet here the first ones among all of them they arrive professor Ken Ridgway and professor Jeff Dunn with their australian team of Commonwealth Science and Industrial Research Organization to discover the arcane, the origins of the deep marine streams (at about one thousand meters deep) that all together regulate the climate on planet Earth and conduct in their loving arms, sometimes warm sometimes cold, the plankton colonies and life of micro-organisms, first food at all of whole marine animal food chain.

In the waiting for the official confirmation of whole official academic world here I report the discovery of the two australian professors: after few decades of studies, of analysis of the salt level of many marine water samples everywhere in all oceans of the world starting from 1950 until 2002, the searchers felt to have tracked down close to the island of Tasmania and along the australian south-west coasts the crucial point where many deep powerful streams flow into each other in one unique flow in the dark depths that all by itself will be able to move and to direct the masses of water in deep streams in all oceans in the world, starting from the Indian and the Pacific one, and then to branch in whole planet and to form the so-called by the experts and students of the field "supergyre".

Like in a building with many floors in the center of a big metropole also in the vast oceans they exist different streams that move at different floors, at different meters deep, or on the superficial water level. The ones that now are studied are those of the utmost depths, about one thousand meters deep.

The movement of these cold or warm water streams really should be able to influence the climate all over the world modifying the temperatures and to promote or to block the life in the oceans. Starting from the huge mass of melting ice from the artic lands and in Groenland, where it is discovered one important decreasing of plankton quantites.

Last wednesday the searchers of CSIRO published the results of their studies with the exact map of the route with whome the streams' system of the Pacific ocean pour out inside the Indian ocean and, following a narrow way between the south australian coast and the neo-zealand one and going towards the south part of Tasman island, then rise again towards the Indian ocean.

It is true without doubt that the knowledges of natural phenomena are a big help for the saving of ecological balancing on earth and they are one help for life. This new knowledge will let us overtake again the next obstacle on the horizon: not only the big climate changements that we are witness during last seasons but also the next problem of the possible modifying of the streams spiral shaped flow for the big new introduction of sweet water not salted) inside the salted water of oceans. This is caused by the progressive dissolving of never-ending glaciers. The mechanism of the big global marine stream (Great Ocean Conveyor Belt) is based exactly on the difference between the temperature and the salt level of water.

We stay in the waiting of next events, not becoming slack with our attention about the deep circulation of life, we all human beings are anchored for our survival.

LE TRENTADUE PERFEZIONI

Una storia dei nostri giorni, localizzata in un angolo del pianeta terra arroccato sulle montagne, il Nepal.

Comincio da un elenco, alcune delle trentadue perfezioni che devono coesistere necessariamente per trasformare un corpicino di bambina in una coppa per ricevere la divina presenza della dea Taleju, nella cultura religiosa nepalese:

* occhi neri
* ciglia come quelle di una mucca
* pori della pelle ben delineati
* nessuna cicatrice
* una bella ombra
* cosce di daino
* organo sessuale non sporgente
* seni poco appariscenti
* denti regolari
* lingua piccola
* guance come quelle di un leone
* corpo come un albero di banano
* quaranta denti, e dentatura perfetta
* pelle chiara e profumata
* soprattutto non deve avere ferite ne perdere sangue

Come da antichissima tradizione e ritualità ormai stabilizzata in tanti secoli ecco una bambina di due anni, segnata dal destino, scelta da un gruppo di otto saggi anziani dopo una accurata selezione fra il gruppo delle candidate, che dovrà farsi coppa ed accogliere lo spirito della dea Taleju e divenire anche lei divinità, almeno fino a quando lo deciderà il re o il gruppo degli otto saggi (come dire dea a tempo determinato) oppure fino a quando si affacceranno le prime mestruazioni (il sangue, questo succo peculiare) oppure ferirsi e perdere sangue, oppure essere protagonista di altri atti particolarmente "impuri".

Il nome della attuale Kumari (ragazza impubere) di Bhaktapur è Sajani Shakya, in ruolo nella sua raffigurazione non solo simbolica di divinità incarnata da ormai otto anni (ne aveva due al momento della sua investitura ed ora ha dieci anni). Svolge il suo ruolo con meticolosità estrema, supervisionata da un esercito di controllori e servitori, che ne curano la figura, la pulizia, il bagno, gli impegni e ne programmano le varie attività.

Ecco che la Kumari Sajani Shakya lo scorso lunedì 10 giugno trattenendosi negli Stati Uniti d'America ove era stata invitata a recarsi per arricchire con la sua presenza la presentazione di un film-documentario sulle dee-bambine Kumari come lei in Nepal, per trentanove giorni ha provato l'ebrezza di una vita nuova, libera da schemi rigidi e severi, a contatto con altri bambini come lei, parlando con tutti e rispondendo alle domande dei giovanissimi ammiratori.

Il suo divertimento non è però passato inosservato al gruppo degli otto saggi anziani, con potere micidiale di decidere se la dea Taleju ancora vive felicemente nel corpo della bambina oppure se ne ha ripudiato la disponibilità, a causa di divertimenti troppo inusuali.

Si è tentato un licenziamento in tronco della dea-bambina, affermando in base a convinzioni difficili da controbattere che la Kumari Sajani Shakya fosse stata contaminata da cibi impropri (forse macDonalds?) che ne avrebbero minato il corpo puro, mantenuto puro fino a quel momento fra le mura domestiche in Nepal. Oppure non è stato digerito il fatto che la Kumari Sajani Shakya avesse provato l'ebrezza delle montagne russe (il gioco nei parchi attrezzati) così contravvenendo al divieto di gioco all'aperto?

Il rischio per il licenziamento prima della scadenza naturale (le mestruazioni oppure una ferita con perdita di sangue) è la perdita di un pensione vitalizia (forse questa con un potere divino verso i genitori della bambina al momento dell'offerta della giovane vita al ruolo carico di sacrifici) di Euro 80,00 (ottanta, non ottantamila, è circa un quattro volte uno stipendio medio nepalese) che potrebbe cercare di risarcire la bambina per la perdita non recuperabile della sua infanzia mancante dei giochi e di tante altre cose.

Forse a causa di proteste popolari di rilievo ecco che il giudizio prima definitivo dei saggi anziani si è smussato fino a tramutarsi in un esame di riparazione per la dea-bambina: un articolato cerimonioso rito sacro avrà il potere di restituire la purezza al corpicino preso in ostaggio. La vita di Kumari Sajani Shakya è salva, potrà continuare fino alla scadenza naturale, per il momento.

Rimane solo l'amarezza per la constatazione del potere umano anche sul divino: sarà l'uomo, maschio, saggio, a decidere se la divinità sta bene oppure no, se ancora è presente nella dea-bambina oppure se è di già volata via, o decidere del suo rientro a patto che sempre i sacerdoti con le loro magiche pratiche possano cambiare le carte in tavola.

Povere bambine, una volta rientrate nel mondo dei bambini non deificati non potranno ritornare ad una vita normale. Molte di queste bambine hanno avuto, almeno fino al momento del loro rimanere sotto il riflettore dell'attenzione pubblica, una vita difficile, mancante di una vita familiare loro propria: non si addice tanto ad una bambina che fu dea lo sposarsi e fare figli.

THE THIRTY TWO PERFECTIONS

A story of our days, localized in a corner of planet earth that is castled on the mountains, in Nepal.

I start with a list, some of the thirtytwo perfections that has to exist necessarly together to transform a female baby body into a cup to receive the divine presence of godess Taleju, in the nepalese religious culture:

- black eyes
- eyelashes like those of a cow
- skin pores well outlined
- no scars
- a beautiful shadow
- tights like deer
- not protuding sexual organ
- not much striking breasts
- regular teeth
- small tongue
- cheeks like those of lion
- body like those of a banana tree
- forty teeth and a perfect set of teeth
- pale and scented skin
- above all she hasn't to have wounds and not lose blood
- soft and clear voice

As it comes by very ancient tradition and rituality now stable along many centuries here there is a female child of two years, signed by destiny, chosen by a group of eight aged wise man after a careful selection among a group of candidates, that will have to make as "cup" and receive the spirit of the goddess Taleju and becomes godess she also, at least until king or until the group of eight wise men will decide so (as to say "goddess at temporarly time") or until the first mentruation will arrive (the blood, this peculiar juice) or being wounded or losing blood, or being main actress of particularly "impure" acts.

The name of the actual Kumari (girl before puberty age) of Bhaktapur is Sajani Sharkya, the role in the not only symbolic representation of incarnated divinity now by this time since eight years (she had two when she entered throughly and now she is ten years old). She carries out her role with extreme much attention, her supervisors are an army of controllers and servants, that take care of her figure, of the cleaning, the bath, the obligations and plans the various activities.

Now the Kumari Sajani Shakya starting from last monday June 10th was invited in the United States of America for a movie representation about the life of the baby-goddesses, to make the meeting precious. The story of the movie is about the babygirls-goddess in Nepal, just like her, in contact with others kids just like her, talking with anyone and answering to the questions of her very young admirers.

Her enjoyment was not out of sight of the group of eight wise men, that has the fatal power to decide if the goddess Taleju is still living happily in the body of the babygirl or if she has repudiated the availability, because of too strange enjoyments.

They tried to fire the babygirl on the spot, saying that starting from convictions difficult to face the Kumari Sajani Shakya was contaminated by not good food (maybe macDonalds?) that could have undermined the pure body, kept pure until that moment in the home walls of Nepal. Or they didn't digest the fact that Kumari Sajai Shakya tasted the thrill of russian mountains (rollercoasters in the equipped parks) in this way contraveneing to the rule agains the games open air?

The risk of getting fired before the natural fixed deadline (the menstruation or a wound with loss of blood) is the loss of a life-time pension (maybe this one with the divine power towards the parents of this female baby at the moment of the offer of the young life to the role full of sacrifices) of eighty euro (eighty, not eighty thousands, it is about four times the medium salary in Nepal) that could try to pay compensantion to the babygirl for the not reachable back loss of her infancy and babyhood missing of games and of many other things.

Maybe because of rilevant popular protests the "before ultimate" judgement of the aged wise men was modified until to transform itself in a reparation exam for the babygirl: one complicated holy celebration that will have the power to give back the purity to the small body took in hostage. The life of Kumari Sajani Shakyais saved, she will be able to continue until the natural expire day, by now.

It is still the bitterness for the observation of the human power also with the divine: it will be man, male, wise, to decide if divinity is feeling good or not anymore, if still present in the goddess-child or if she is flew away already, or to decide about her way back only if still the priests with their magical practise could change the cards on the tables.

Poor babygirls, once entered back in the world of "not divine" kids they could not to be back to a normal life. many of these babygirls have got, at least until the moment of their being under the flash-spots of public attention, a hard life, missing of their own familiar life: it is not suitable to a babygirl that was a goddess to marry and to have children.

Le notizie curiose ed inverosimili sono quelle che richiamano maggiormente la mia attenzione e l'attenzione di milioni di lettori, in questo caso giapponesi. Da diversi mesi in Giappone, in varie province ed in particolare nelle prefetture di Hokkaido, Aomori, Akita, Miyagi, Chiba, Saitama, Tokyo, Niigata, Shizuoka, Osaka, Nara, Hyogo, Oita, Nagasaki, Miyazaki e Kagoshima stanno avvenendo degli stranissimi ritrovamenti. Nei bagni pubblici di tutte queste prefetture vengono rinvenute delle buste eleganti, di classica manifattura giapponese stile washi, entro le quali sono contenuti un foglio scritto a mano con elegante calligrafia ed una banconota da 10.000 yen (circa 59,39 euro oppure 81,77 dollari usa).

Sul foglio si legge lo stesso messaggio, uguale su tutte le buste rinvenute: "Usa questo denaro per il raggiungimento della conoscenza. Uno per persona. Sii felice.”

Malgrado le indagini delle forze di polizia ancora non si è riusciti ad identificare il misterioso generoso distributore di lettere con i soldi e neanche ad intuire il motivo che lo spinge a tutto ciò. Fino ad oggi si è invece riusciti a calcolare il valore del denaro distribuito a partire dallo scorso mese di aprile 2007, che ammonterebbe a 4 milioni di yen (circa 23.760 euro o 32.710 dollari usa) solo fino ad oggi.

Il disciplinato senso civico giapponese porta tutte le persone che trovano la busta con il tesoro a non nasconderlo ma a metterlo a disposizione delle forze di polizia. Dopo sei mesi il regalo trovato sarà donato a colui che lo aveva rinvenuto.

Una mia notazione personale: la stranezza del gesto liberale salta subito all'occhio ed è stato a buona ragione notato dai mezzi di informazione. In un mondo sempre più concorrenziale, alle prese con la velocità degli scambi commerciali e con la competitività economica più sfrenata ecco che un individuo sconosciuto armato di moneta gira il paese del Giappone distribuendo soldi e consigli di studi filosofici e spirituali.

La curiosità dell'uomo comune rimane per il momento insoddisfatta: quale il motivo che spinge all'azione? Quale il motivo per elargire a piccole dosi una discreta fortuna monetaria alla persona che il destino ha voluto mettere sulla strada della busta washi?

Un primo risultato immediato l'oscuro benefattore lo ha già raggiunto: per un breve momento gli organi di informazione di massa hanno soprasseduto con i notiziari economici e finanziari, con i bollettini di guerra e di sangue per rallentare il passo veloce delle persone indaffarate con una notizia curiosa: "Usa il denaro per la conoscenza, usa il tempo per essere felice". Non è poca cosa.

The curious and the incredible news are those that call in a bigger way my attention and the attention of millions of readers, in this case japanese. Since several months in Japan, in various provinces and in particular in the prefectures of Hokkaido, Aomori, Akita, Miyagi, Chiba, Saitama, Tokyo, Niigata, Shizuoka, Osaka, Nara, Hyogo, Oita, Nagasaki, Miyazaki and Kagoshima are happening very strange findings. Inside the public bathrooms of all of those prefectures some elegant envelops are discovered, with the classical japanese manufacture style "washi", inside of whom they were contained one paper hand-written with elegant hand-writing and one banknote of 10.000 yen (about 59,39 Euro or 81,77 us dollars).

On the paper you can read the same message, the same on whole envelopes recovered: "Use this money for the disciplining. One each person. Be happy."

In spite of the police's investigations still it was not possible to identify the mysterious donor of envelopes with the money and still not able to realize about the reason that drives him to all of this. On the contrary until today they were able to count the value of the delivered money starting by the last month of april 2007, that should amount to 4 millions of yen (about 23.760 euro or 32.710 us dollars) only until today.

The disciplinated japanese civic sense brings all the persons that find the envelope with the treasure to don't hide it but to put it at the police's disposal. After six months the found present will be donated to whom had found it.

One my personal notation: the strangeness of the liberal gesture is soon clear to the eyes and was with good reason noticed by media. In one world more and more competitive, handling with commercial exchanges' speed and with the utmost unrestrained economical competition now one unknown person armed with money go round the country of Japan giving around money and advices of philosophical and spiritual studies.

The curiosity of the common man stays not satisfied at the moment: which one is the reason that moves to the action? Which one is the reason to hand out with small doses a reasonable monetary fortune to the person that destiny wanted to put on the way with the washi envelope?

One first immediate result was already achieved by the obscure benefactor: for a short moment the mass-media delayed with the economical and financial news, with war and blooded bullettins to slow down the quick pace of busy people with a curious new: "Use your money for the knowledge, use your time to be happy". It is not small thing.

NEMICI DELLA VERITA’

Lo scorso 21 maggio 2007 la camera bassa dell'attuale parlamento afghano ha votato a maggioranza per alzata di mano senza conteggio formale per l'espulsione dal Parlamento di Malalai Joya, la più giovane parlamentare in Afghanistan di appena 28 anni, già insegnante di letteratura quando era esule in Pakistan delle donne rifugiate, già direttrice di un orfanotrofio in Afghanistan durante il regime dei talebani, eletta con il maggior numero di voti come rappresentante della provincia afghana di Farah.

La sua colpa così duramente sanzionata sarebbe quella di avere insultato il parlamento durante una intervista televisiva afghana, paragonandolo a qualche cosa di peggiore di una stalla o di uno zoo, visto che almeno nella stalla vi sono gli asini (che trasportano le merci) e le mucche (che forniscono il latte). Un modo pittoresco e che colpisce l'immaginazione delle persone contadine e dedite alla pastorizia ed all'allevamento dell'Afghanistan, per fargli capire che in parlamento si combina poco, con la presenza ingombrante dei mercanti di droga e dei signori della guerra.

Quella di Malalai Joya è una lunga battaglia per i diritti umani e delle donne afghane. Da anni, ancor prima della sua elezione al parlamento, si è dedicata con tutte le sue forze ed energie alla difesa dei più deboli, contro gli interessi dei signori feudali del suo paese, con i loro ricchi commerci ed introiti non dichiarati. Più volte ha subito minacce direttamente dagli altri deputati in parlamento, per quattro volte è sfuggita ad attentati alla sua vita. Ma questo non serve a piegare la sua coraggiosa ed indomita volontà di pulizia e di chiarezza.

Ed ora è arrivato questo ultimo atto di espulsione dal parlamento, votato dagli altri rappresentanti da lei criticati, che hanno trovato l'articolo 70 (si dice creato proprio per allontanare Malalai Joya dal parlamento) che vieta l'insulto dei parlamentari gli uni con gli altri. Ma qui si dimentica, e per questo Malalai Joya ha già fatto ricorso alla corte suprema afghana contro la sua espulsione, il principio fondamentale che garantisce la completa espressione politica dei parlamentari, libertà di parola e di pensiero.

Con tutta la mia speranza che la corte suprema non si pieghi agli interessi dei potenti e dei prepotenti aspettiamo la sua risposta al ricorso, probabilmente attesa per la seconda metà del mese di luglio, quando il parlamento afghano riaprirà le sue porte ai deputati della camera bassa, soddisfatti di avere per il momento allontanato la voce scomoda di Malalai Joya, che continuerà la sua attività politica anche fuori del parlamento a difesa dei diritti umani, parlamento privato in questo modo della sua voce più cristallina e coraggiosa.

Last may 21st 2007 the low chamber of the actual afghan parliament voted with majority of votes and with the standing hands without a formal counting for the kicking out of the Parliament of Malalai Joya, the youngest parliamentary in Afghanistan of 28 years old only, already teacher of literature when was exile in Pakistan of the refugee women, already director of one orphanage in Afghanistan during the taleban regime, elected with the most number of votes as representative of the afghan province of Farah.

His fault so hardly sanctioned should be that she insulted the parliament during one afghan tv interview, comparing it with something worst than a stable or a zoo, so that at least in the stable there are donkeys (that transport goods) and of cows (that produce milk). A picturesque way and that gets the attention of the farmers and working with the sheep farming and with breeding of Afghanistan, to make them understand that so few is done in the Parliament, with the cumbersome presence of drug's merchants and of war lords.

The Malalai Joya's battle is a long battle for human rights and of the afghan women. Since years, still before her election in the Parliament, she devoted herself with all her forces and energies to the defence of the weakest, against the interests of the feudal lords of her country, with their rich commerce and not declared incomes. More times she suffered threats directly from other deputies in the Parliament, for four times she escaped to attempts on her life. But it is not useful to bend her courageous and indomitable will of cleaness and clearness.

And now it arrived this last act of expulsion from the Parliament, voted by other representatives that she criticized, that found the article 70 (they say exactly created to put Malalai Joya far from the Parliament) that prohibits the insult among parliamentaries each other. But here it is forgotten, and for this reason Malalai Joya has already asked for a recurrence to the afghan Supreme Court against her expulsion, the fundamental principle that assure he complete political expression of parliamentaries, freedom of speech and of thought.

With all my hope that the Supreme Court will not bend to the interests of powerful people and of arrogants we wait for its answer to the recurrence, probably waited for the second half of July, when the afghan Parliament will open its doors to the Deputies of the lower chamber, satisfied to have for the moment removed the uncomfortable voice of Malalai Joya, that will continue her political activity also outside the Parliament for the defence of the human rights, parliament deprived in this way of its voice more crystalline and courageous.

TEMPO IN BOTTIGLIA - TIME IN A BOTTLE

Il 15 giugno 1957 l'ottimismo del popolo americano volle lanciare nel futuro il gioiello della motoristica dell'epoca, la Plymouth Belvedere Sport Coupè, colore oro e bianco.

Il progetto era quello di assegnare questa bella automobile di lusso, lucida ed elegante, come premio della lotteria sul numero futuro della popolazione della città di Tulsa esattamente cinquanta anni dopo, il 1 giugno 2007. Questo il numero fatidico della popolazione ufficiale di Tulsa, dal sito web dell'Ufficio Censimento americano: 382,457.

Il vincitore che ebbe la buona stella di indovinare questo numero avrà in dono la bella autovettura, per l'occasione interrata all'epoca in una specie di fossa, preparata per l'occasione e predisposta a conservare il premio fino al giorno della riscossione, cinquant'anni dopo.

Oggi è giunto il giorno del ritiro del premio. La buca interrata con la Plymouth del 1957 è stata riaperta, l'autovettura è stata riportata alla luce.

Una sola nota stonata: il tempo, implacabile esecutore delle leggi di natura, non era stato consultato per avere il suo parere, riguardo il progetto del "tempo in capsula", che voleva restituire decenni dopo una cosa rappresentativa della civiltà moderna dell'epoca intatta ed immacolata agli abitanti futuri del pianeta Terra.

La vita, nelle sue forme varie e cangianti, non può essere messa in scatola oppure sepolta, non può essere fermata in fotogramma sospeso in "pausa" in un film reale che invece non prevede soste o pause.

La freschezza è quella del giorno corrente, non quella bloccata e messa sotto-vuoto.
Come l'acqua di sorgente, al momento di vedere la luce all'aperto, non ancora imprigionata in bottiglia.

The June 15th 1957 the american population’s optismism wanted to launch in the future the jewel of the motor industries of that time, the Plymouth Belvedere Sport Coupè, gold and white colour.

The project was to assign this beautiful luxury car, shining and elegant, as the prize of the lottery about the future number of population of the city of Tulsa exactly fifty years later, June 1st 2007. This was the fateful number of the official population of Tulsa, from the website of the American census population: 382,457.

The winner that had the good star to guess this number will have as a gift the beautiful car that was for buried at that time in a pit prepared for the occasion and prepared to conserve the prize until the day of the withdrawal, fifty years later.

Today the day of the withdrawal is arrived. The hole inside the ground with the Plymouth of 1957 was open, the car again in the light.

SEGNI DEI TEMPI - SIGNS OF TIMES

Chi tra voi non ha mai visto il celebre film di Alfred Hitchcock "Gli Uccelli" nel quale era narrata la rivolta degli uccelli contro gli esseri umani? Anche nel film la specie presa come protagonista era il "corvus corone cornix", la familiare cornacchia romanesca che ormai noi cittadini di Roma siamo abituati a trovare saltellante in ogni parco verde della città.

Cosa è accaduto di nuovo e di recente che mi spinge a condividere la notizia? La cosa nuova è che questi grandi uccelli quasi domestici nelle nostre grandi città si sono fatti più intraprendenti, meno paurosi, più sfrontati, dispettosi, quasi gradassi. Più volte ho notato come sono loro stessi, non provocati, a cercare la sfida con l'essere umano, a mettersi di mezzo alla strada ed ad osservarti direttamente negli occhi, quasi a voler provocare una nostra azione nei loro confronti.

Ed è la notizia del giorno che a Roma, nel quartiere di Monteverde (ma non solo in quella zona) i corvi hanno preso l’abitudine di volare sulla testa delle persone e di beccare in mezzo alla testa del passante.

I naturalisti ed i responsabili dei bio-parchi (quello di Roma nel nostro caso) tendono a minimizzare, dando la ragione del comportamento di questi bipedi alati alla stagione dei parti, delle nascite dei loro piccini: per protezione ecco che i novelli genitori si fanno più guardinghi e meno tolleranti nei nostri confronti.

Da parte mia io non posso fare a meno di notare la grande quantità di rifiuti giornalieri che vengono prodotti dalla cittadinanza delle grandi metropoli e dal modo a volte (troppo spesso) non accurato con cui tali rifiuti vengono rimossi dagli automezzi di pulizia. Una vera "grazia del cielo" per i pennuti nuovi abitanti delle metropoli, che trovano tavole riccamente imbandite per loro a tutte le ore dei giorni.

Si fa sempre più attuale e più pressante la profezia del capo indiano Seattle della tribù Suwamish, quando nel 1854 in risposta alla proposta fattagli dal "grande bianco" presidente americano Franklin Pierce del New Hampshire di vendere a lui la terra ed il cielo ove loro vivevano. Ora non importa molto se questa versione è quella originale oppure solo una versione postuma del professore Ted Perry dal Texas, come parte di una sceneggiatura cinematografica. Questo il testo della parte finale:

“Ciò che accade alla terra, accade ai figli della terra. L’uomo non tesse la tela della vita. E’ solo un filo di essa. Qualsiasi cosa egli faccia alla tela, lo fa a se stesso. Anche l’uomo bianco, il cui Dio cammina e parla con lui come fossero amici, non può esentarsi dal destino comune.

“Potremmo essere fratelli, dopo tutto. Dovremmo vedere. Una cosa sappiamo, che l’uomo bianco potrebbe un giorno scoprire che il nostro Dio è lo stesso Dio.

“Potreste pensare ora che tu possiedi Lui così come vuoi possedere la nostra terra. Ma non puoi. Egli è il Dio dell’uomo, e la Sua compassione è uguale per il pellerossa e per il bianco. Questa terra è preziosa anche per Lui. E danneggiare la terra vuol dire ammucchiare disprezzo per il suo Creatore. Anche i bianchi non ci saranno più, forse accadrà prima a loro che ad altre tribù. CONTAMINATE I VOSTRI LETTI E UNA NOTTE SOFFOCHERETE NEI VOSTRI RIFIUTI.

“Ma nella vostra morte brillerete lucenti, infuocati dalla forza del Dio che vi ha portati su questa terra e per qualche scopo speciale vi ha dato dominio sulla terra e sui pellerossa. Questo destino è un mistero per noi, perché non comprendiamo… quando il bufalo selvaggio sarà massacrato, i cavalli selvaggi addomesticati, gli angoli segreti della foresta violati e la vista delle colline rovinata dai cavi parlanti, cosa resterà? Sarà la fine della vita e l’inizio della sopravvivenza.

“Ma siamo selvaggi… e non comprendiamo”.

Questa la sua risposta, bella e luminosa, come doveva essere anche la sua mente ed il suo corpo, agili e scattanti all’unisono. Come caldo e sensibile doveva essere il suo cuore. Un esempio per tutti noi.

SIGNS OF TIMES

Who is the one among you that ever have seen the famous film by Alfred Hitchcok “The Birds” where it was told the rebellion of birds against human beings? Also in the film the species that was taken as main character was the crow “corvus corone cornix”, the so familiar roman crow that we citizens of Roma are usual at last to find skipping in every green park of the city.

What did happen of new and recently that push me to share the new? The new if that these big birds almost domestic in our big cities are become more enterprising, less timorous, more impudent, spiteful, almost boaster. More times I noticed they themselves, not being provoked, to look for the challenge with human being, to put themselves in the center of street and to start to stare at you directly inside your eyes, maybe wanting to provoke our reaction towards them.

And it is the new of the day that in Rome, in the block called Monteverde (but not only in that area) the crows have got the habit to fly on the people’s heads and to squabble just in the middle of the passer-by heads.

Naturalists and green zoo’ responsibles (at least the one in Rome in this case) minimize the event, explaining this behaviour of the “flying two feet” because of the births’ season, of the births of new puppies: to protect them here the new parents become more cautious and less tolerant towards us.

By my side I can only notice the huge quantity of daily rubbish that are produced by citizens of big metropoles and the not accurate way that sometimes (too many times) that these rabbish are removed by the cleaning busses. A real “manna from sky” for the feathered new citizens of the metropole, that find really sumptuously decked tables for them at all hours of days.

It is more and more actual and more and more pressing the prophecy of indian chief Seattle of tribe Suwamish, when in 1854 he answered to the proposal offered him by the “big white” american president Franklin Pierce of New Hampshire to sell him the ground and the sky where they were living. Now it is not important if this version is the original one or only a later version of professor Ted Perry from Texas, as a part of a movie screenplay. This one the text of the final part of it:

This is his answer, beautiful and shining, just like it should be also his mind and his body, agile and nimble at same sound. His heart should be warm and sensitive as well. One example for everyone of us.

LA SIRENETTA - THE LITTLE MERMAID

LA SIRENETTA

Un posto di onore nel mio cuore di bambino lo trovano ancora i ricordi delle favole magiche che mi prendevano il sonno della notte. I fratelli Grimm e Hans Christian Handersen per citarne alcuni.

Ad una favola di questo ultimo, Handersen, è legata la figura della sirenetta, che mani esperte hanno modellato e menti raffinate hanno posto su una roccia nel mare di Copenhagen, in Danimarca.

Questo simbolo della bellezza e della dolcezza femminile legata alla simbologia acquatica e marina ha subito nei giorni scorsi un ennesimo atto di vandalismo, come ormai da troppi anni sembra ripetersi il brutto fatto: questa volta sconosciuti hanno verniciato con vernice rossa il volto ed i fianchi della dolce sirenetta, ideata e costruita nell’agosto del lontano 1913.

Che sia questo gesto di insensibilità e di sciocchezza un altro gesto tipico del malessere di oggi che vive tra i rapporti tra i giovani, nei riguardi dei rapporti fra i due sessi, nei confronti della presenza sempre più rara di una figura femminile di sottile bellezza che si ostina a volgere il capo verso il mare che gli diede i natali?

Oppure è stato più semplicemente il gesto di uno spasimante respinto a profanare la sacralità dello spirito femminile che milioni di turisti e visitatori riconoscono alla piccola statuina?

Qualunque possa essere la risposta io rimango rattristato nel trovare conferma della insensibilità umana che a volte nasce e si fortifica negli uomini con la paura dell’altra metà (la più profonda) del cielo: le donne.

THE LITTLE MERMAID

A remarkable place in my baby’s heart is found still by the magical fairy tales that took my sleeping during the night. The Grimm brothers and Hans Christian Handersen just to say some of them.

To one fairy tale of the last one, Handersen, is kept the figure of the little mermaid, that expert hands have shaped and refined minds have put on a rock in the sea of Copenhagen, in Denmark.

This symbol of the female beauty and of sweetness tied with water and marine symbol has suffered during last days of a renewed act of vandalism, as since too many years it seems to happen again the bad fact: this time unknown persons have varnished with red paint the head and the hips of the sweet little mermaid, conceived and made in august of far 1913.

Is this action of insensibility and of stupidity another typical action of the illness of today that lives in the relationships among young persons, in the relationships between the two sexes, towards the more and more rare presence of a female figure of subtle beauty that persist obstinately in turning her head to the sea that gave her the birth?

Or in a more simple way it was the gesture of a rejected suitor that desecrated the holiness of the female spiritual being that millions of tourists and visitors recognize to the small statue?

Any kind of answer it could be I feel sad to find a confirmation of the human insensibility that sometimes borns and makes itself strong in men with the fear of the other half of the sky (the deepest one): the women.

LA NOTTE DELLE FAMIGLIE - FAMILIES NIGHT

Non solo la famiglia nata dal matrimonio celebrato presso il Comune di residenza, oppure in altro luogo, oppure in chiesa con il rito del diritto canonico mutuato dal concordato fra chiesa e Stato, ma anche molte altre forme di rapporto fra persone oggi costituiscono la nuova rete dei rapporti fra persone, formano la trama di un ricco mondo di amore e di affettività che chiede riconoscimento civile in Italia.

La notte che precede il 12 maggio, l’11 maggio alle ore 21,30, accendiamo una candela nelle finestre delle nostre case, accendiamo la speranza dei diritti per tutte le famiglie, illuminiamo la notte dall’oscurantismo di chi si ostina a non volere considerare uguali tutte le forme di amore.

CONVEGNO SULLA VITA DELL'UOMO - MEETING ABOUT HUMAN LIFE

Tra cattolico e laico è possibile una via intermedia? Esiste una strada diversa dalla materialità chiusa ai mondi invisibili agli occhi delle dimensioni spirituali e diversa anche dalla religiosità ottusa, che si rifugia nella credenza di dogmi senza voler indagare in modo nuovo e razionale i mondi spirituali?
Per rispondere a questa domanda ecco che il prossimo fine settimana a Roma è previsto un convegno dal titolo "Cultura cattolica e cultura laica - a confronto sulla vita dell'Uomo". Il relatore sarà Pietro Archiati e le conferenze da lui condotte avranno luogo presso l'Aula Magna della facoltà di Economia dell'Università degli Studi di Roma "La Sapienza", come da programma qui di seguito.

L'invito è rivolto a tutti gli amici di Roma e di fuori Roma. Mi faccio portatore di un vero interesse verso questo tema molto di attualità oggi in Italia e nel mondo, ove due mondi diversi, quello materialista e quello religioso sembrano troppo spesso non trovare un punto di incontro.

Come tante strade e solchi sul terreno portano alla fine alla verità celata, come mille soli all'alba portano alle nuove giornate di vita sulla Terra, ecco che nuove oppurtunità si aprono al cuore ed alla mente che cercano la verità e la conoscenza delle cose.

Does it exist a different road by the materialistic way closed to "invisible to eyes" worlds of the spiritual dimensions and different also by the obtuse religiousity that find a refuge in the belief of dogma without the will to investigate in a new and rational way the spiritual worlds?

To answer to this question here it is planned in Rome this next week-end a meeting with the title "Catholic culture and lay culture - a confrontation on the life of "Man". The spokesman will be Pietro Archiati and the conferences that he will lead will take place in the Aula Magna of Economy faculty of roman University of Studies "La Sapienza", as it is showed by the program below.

The invitation is for every friend in Rome and outside Rome. I am messenger of a real interest towards this theme so much of actuality today in Italy and in the world, where two different worlds, the materialistic one and the religious one seem too often to don't find a meeting point.

As many ways and tracks on the ground at the end drive to hiding truth, as thousands suns at the sunrise they drive to new days of life on earth, here they are new opportunities that open to the heart and to the mind that are seeking for truth and the knowledge of things.

"Dichiaro di rifiutare qualsiasi legge che non rispetti i diritti dell'individuo e la libertà personale"

Per questa dichiarazione, nonché per aver espresso altre opinioni "pericolose" in merito alla tolleranza religiosa e all'uguaglianza tra i sessi, in Egitto, lo studente ventiduenne Abdul Kareem Suleiman, ossia Kareem Amer, è stato condannato a quattro anni di carcere con l'accusa di avere insultato il presidente egiziano e la religione islamica.
Il ricorso in appello ha confermato la sentenza e l'accusa ha ostacolato il lavoro degli avvocati di Karim, che lo difendono a titolo gratuito.
La sua famiglia lo ha pubblicamente disconosciuto e il padre ha invocato l'applicazione della sharia (legge islamica), chiedendo che venga giustiziato qualora non dovesse “pentirsi” entro tre giorni.
Per aver difeso i principi della libertà di parola, lo Index of Censorship ha insignito Kareem del Premio Hugo Young per il Giornalismo per il 2007, mentre il PEN Club britannico lo ha eletto membro onorario dell'organizzazione.
Quasi 6.000 persone hanno sottoscritto petizioni e inviato lettere al governo egiziano e al Dipartimento di Stato degli Stati Uniti chiedendo il rilascio di Karim. Il caso di Kareem, quasi ignorato dai media italiani, è stato invece intensamente seguito da maggiori media del mondo.
Amnesty International, Reporter Senza Frontiere e la Arabic Network for Human Rights Information, con sede al Cairo, hanno chiesto il rilascio di Karim. Le organizzazioni egiziane per la difesa dei diritti umani temono per la sua sicurezza e affermano che, nella prigione dove si trova detenuto, la sua vita è in pericolo.
Il caso di Karim è stato oggetto di reportage comparsi su i media di tutto il mondo, tra cui BBC, International Herald Tribune, Agenzia Reuters, Guardian, Washington Post, CBC e centinaia di blog.

Il 27 aprile, a Roma, in piazza Montecitorio, a partire dalle ore 10, un piccolo gruppo di persone che hanno a cuore i diritti degli individui si unirà agli svariati drappelli che, in altre capitali, testimonieranno solidarietà a Karim Amer e chiederanno alle autorità politiche di adoperarsi per la sua liberazione.

Il Ministro degli Esteri egiziano Ahmed Abul-Gheit ha dichiarato che nessuno, "chiunque esso sia" deve intromettersi nel lavoro dell'autorità giudiziaria egiziana, ne commentare le sue decisioni.
Abul-Gheit ha anche affermato che l'Egitto rifiuta le posizioni di alcuni "media ed organizzazioni non governative straniere", esprimendo il "forte disappunto e la costernazione" dell'Egitto per quanto è stato detto.
Un tribunale di Alexandria, nel nord dell'Egitto, ha condannato Abdul Kareem Suleiman a quattro anni di prigione, con l'accusa di disprezzare la religione islamica e di insultare il presidente Mubarak. Il tribunale "Moharram Bek Misdemeanor" ha condannato l'accusato a tre anni di carcere per l'accusa di disprezzo della religione islamica, e ad un anno per le offese al Presidente. Suleiman era uno studente all'Università Al-Azhar, che lo aveva espulso lo scorso anno e che aveva richiesto che venisse processato.
E' il primo blogger egiziano ad essere condannato al carcere.
Il portavoce del Dipartimento di Stato Americano, Tom Casey, ha dichiarato la propria preoccupazione per l'incarcerazione del blogger Abdul Kareem Suleiman, condannato per aver espresso le proprie opinioni.
La sentenza è stata criticata anche dalle organizzazioni per i diritti umani egiziane ed estere, quali il "Committee to Protect Journalists" con sede a New York e l'"Egyptian Organization for Human Rights".

Otto articoli
Suleiman ha firmato i propri articoli con l'appellativo di Kareem Amer. E' stato processato per il contenuto di otto post, pubblicati sul suo blog, nei quali critica fortemente l'Università Al-Azhar, descritta come "l'Università del terrorismo e dell'estremismo".
Inoltre, in uno di questi articoli, critica Mubarak, paragonandolo ad un "dittatore faraonico". In un altro articolo intitolato "la nuda verità sull'Islam come la vedo io", Suleiman parla degli scontri tra sette religiose avvenuti ad Alexandria nel 2005, accusando i mussulmani di aver fomentato gli scontri ed infangandone l'immagine.
In custodia dallo scorso Novembre, Suleiman non ha mai rinnegato quanto scritto, affermando che gli articoli riflettono solo le proprie opinioni personali. Gli avvocati della difesa hanno dichiarato che ricorreranno in appello contro la condanna, ritenendo ingiusto il processo.

Il ministro Abul-Gheit si domanda come mai il mondo sembri così interessato e preoccupato per l'attività giudiziaria dell'Egitto.
A costo di essere anacronistici, una risposta eloquente è stata scritta proprio da Kareem Amer, poco prima del suo arresto:

Io dichiaro, in modo franco e netto, che rifiuto e rigetto ogni legge, ogni legislazione, ogni regime che non rispetti i diritti dell'individuo e la libertà personale, e che non riconosca l'assoluta libertà di azione dell'individuo - fintantoché non danneggi chi gli sta attorno -, e che non riconosca l'assoluta libertà delle persone di esprimere le proprie opinioni, quali esse siano, fintantoché queste opinioni siano solo parole e non siano accompagnate da azioni tali da danneggiare gli altri.
Allo stesso tempo dichiaro, in modo franco e netto, che tali leggi non possono determinare alcun obbligo per me, né io ne riconosco l'autorità o l'esistenza.
Detesto, con tutto me stesso, chiunque lavori per il loro sviluppo, chiunque le prenda come riferimento, chiunque sia soddisfatto della loro esistenza o ne tragga giovamento.
E se queste leggi ci sono imposte, e noi non abbiamo il potere o la forza di cambiarle perchè questo potere è nelle mani di altri, che sono estremamente soddisfatti per l'esistenza di queste leggi e le applicano: nondimeno, tutto questo non mi indurrà alla sottomissione, ne mi metterò calmo in attesa di sollievo o appagamento.
Dichiaro inoltre che non riconosco la legittimità delle indagini in corso su quanto ho scritto, che rientrano nell'ambito della libertà personale di esprimere le mie opinioni. Questa libertà è sancita dalla Dichiarazione Universale dei Diritti dell'Uomo, che l'Egitto ha sottoscritto. Ma, lasciando stare la Dichiarazione, e anche se non esistesse, e anche se l'Egitto non l'avesse sottoscritta, i diritti umani esistono in quanto tali e non hanno bisogno di una legislazione o di leggi per regolarli o per definirne l'esistenza.

“I declare to refuse any law that won’t respect the individual rights and the personal freedom”.

For this declaration, and to have express other “dangerous” opinions about religious tolerance and the equality among males and females, in Egypt, the 22 years old student Abdul Kareem Suleiman, Kareem Amer, has been condemned to four years of prison with the accusation to have insulted the Egyptian president and the Islamic religion.

The second degree appeal confirmed the sentence and the prosecution put obstacles to the work of the lawyers of Karim, freely defending him.

His family has publicly disowned him and his father invoked the application of sharia (Islamic law), asking that he will put to dead if he will not “repent of” it before three days.

Because of defense of freedom of speech principles, the Index of Censorship has decorated Karim with the “Hugo Young” prize for Journalism of year 2007, while the british “Pen Club” elected him honoured member of the organization.

Almost 6.000 people subscribed the petition and sent letters to Egyptian government and to State Department in United States of America asking for the release of Karim. The case of Kareem, almost ignored by Italian media, has been deeply followed by the major media in the world.

Amnesty International, Reporter Sans Frontiers and the Arabic Network for Human Rights Information, placed in Cairo, asked for the release of Karim.

The Egyptian organizations for the defence of human rights fear for his safety and say that, in the prison where he is kept, his life is in danger.

The Kareem case has been subject of journalistic services showed on whole world media, on BBC, International Herald Tribune, Reuters agency, Guardian, Washington Post, CBC and hundreds of blogs.

UGUAGLIANZA RELIGIOSA - RELIGIOUS EQUALITY

Differenza e distanza fra Stato e religione. In quanti e quali paesi possiamo dire che tale differenza e distanza esista e venga rispettata? In quanti e quali casi possiamo annuire nel verificare dati alla mano che questa differenza sia stata nei fatti fatta valere?

Quando e dove il principio di libertà religiosa è stato fatto valere e la sua pratica difesa?

Uno di questi casi, protagonista il sergente della Guardia Nazionale americana Patrick Stewart e sua moglie Roberta, ha visto finalmente la luce ed una sua soluzione dopo anni di lotta per il riconoscimento della fede religiosa del sergente Stewart, caduto in Afghanistan con un elicottero. Questo riconoscimento è avvenuto lo scorso lunedì 22 aprile 2007.

La fede religiosa del sergente Stewart era il credo religioso Wicca, sembra originato da Gerald Brosseau Gardner (1884-1964), si accredita il valore del politeismo come fermento di libertà e di rifiuto delle gerarchie, all'adorazione di una Dea madre e di un Dio bicorne, di una Natura vista come sacra, nella riscoperta di una armonia con tutti gli esseri viventi e della riscoperta di una natura divina presente negli esseri umani, nel rispetto del corso delle stagioni e dei pianeti del sistema solare.

Fino allo scorso lunedì non era possibile in quanto non previsto dai regolamenti militari apporre ufficialmente il simbolo wicca del pentacolo, della stella a cinque punte rivolta verso il cielo, sulle lastre tombali dei militari americani morti che vengono onorate dai parenti e dagli amici nei cimiteri sia militari che civili. Ora invece con una pronuncia del Dipartimento degli Affari dei Veterani americano è stato dato riconoscimento anche al simbolo del pentacolo wicca che potrà essere a pieno titolo e diritto essere apposto sulla lapide dei militari deceduti, tanto quanto era già in uso con i simboli della croce cristiana, della ruota buddista, della luna crescente musulmana, della stella di David ebraica, della stella Bahai, del del simbolo degli atei ed altri 32 emblemi.

Plaudo a questo seppur tardivo riconoscimento, sollecitato a gran voce dalla famiglia, dai colleghi militari di Patrick Stewart, dalle associazioni dei veterani americane. E' stato riconosciuto anche nella pratica di ogni giorno il principio della Costituzione che separava lo Stato ed i suoi uffici dalle pratiche religiose, qualsiasi esse possano essere.

In quanti altri paesi del mondo si sarebbe pronti a questo riconoscimento, a questo rispetto per le scelte individali a livello pubblico e legislativo?

Difference and distance between State and religion. In how many and which countries can we say that this difference and distance exist and is respected? In how many and which cases can we nod and verify with clear data that this difference was made respected?

When and where the principle of religious freedom was made respected and its practise defended?

One of these cases, main role the National Guard sergeant Patrick Stewart and his wife Roberta, finally has seen the light and one solution after years of fight for the recognition of the religious faith of sergeant Stewart, died in Afghanistan with one helicopter. This recognition was made last monday april 22nd 2007.

The religious faith of sergeant Stewart was the religious belief of Wicca, it seems originated by Gerald Brosseau Gardner (1884-1964), it gains credit the value of polytheism as freedom' ferment and refusal of hierarchy, of adoration of Mother Goddess and a male double-horn God, of a Nature seen as "holy", of the new discover of one harmony with all living beings and the rediscover of divine nature inside human beings, of respect of seasons' course and of solar system's planets.

Until last monday it was not possible because of not considered by military rules to put officially the wicca symbol of the pentacle, of the five tips star turned towards the sky, on the gravestones of dead soldiers that are honoured by relatives and by friends in both military and civil graveyards.

On the contrary now with a lawsuit settlement with the american Department of Veterans Affairs also the wiccan pentacle was recognized that will be put with all honors on the gravestone of died soldiers, just the same way it was already used with the symbols of christian cross, of the buddhist wheel, of the muslim crescent, of the jewish star of David, of the bahai star, of the atheists symbol and other 32 emblems.

I applaud to this "even if late" recognition, requested urgently with large voice by the family, by comrades at arms of Patrick Stewart, by american veterans associations. It was given recognition also in daily practise to the principle of Constitution that separates the State and its offices by religious cases, whatever they could be.

In how many other countries in the world they should be ready to this recognition, to this respect for individual choices at public and legislative level?

BOTTE DA MONACI ORBI - CRAZY BEATING MONKS

Venerdì 20 aprile 2007 si sono avuti scontri tra varie decine di monaci buddisti Khmer Krom vietnamiti e monaci buddisti cambogiani ed un gruppo di altri sei monaci non meglio identificati nella capitale cambogiana Phnom Penh.

La manifestazione era stata annunciata a livello globale ed internazionale, sollecitando una partecipazione di tutti, ed in particolar modo del governo australiano, che recentemente ha intavolato una intensa attività di commercio economico con il Vietnam, senza porsi molti interrogativi sul rispetto dei diritti umani e della libertà di fede religiosa in alcune regioni del Vietman, in modo particolare con la regione del Kampuchea Krom, lungo il delta Mekong e la linea di confine del Vietnam del sud con la Cambogia, vasti fertili territori ove risiedono minoranze etniche poverissime tra le quali i Khmer Krom, che denunciano vessazioni e repressioni e la popolazione degli altipiani dei Montagnards.

La protesta di venerdì a Phnom Penh era la risposta all'azione dello scorso 8 febbraio 2007 quando durante una dimostrazione di circa 200 monaci buddisti vietnamiti nella provincia di Soc Trang un rilevante numero di monaci buddisti Khmers Kampuchea-Krom furono costretti a lasciare i propri templi, almeno nove monaci costretti a spogliarsi delle loro tuniche ed altri tre monaci arrestati dalle autorità, dei quali non si hanno tutt'ora notizie.

In particolare il governo australiano potrebbe avere voce in capitolo per il rispetto dei diritti umani e della libertà religiosa in quanto l'associazione AUS-AID ha contribuito con oltre 81 milioni di dollari nell'instaurare nuovi scambi commerciali con il Vietnam.

Per questi motivi la manifestazione dello scorso 20 aprile, quando tafferugli hanno portato al ferimento di alcuni monaci ed al lancio di bottiglie. Non si comprende bene perchè questo ristretto gruppo di sei monaci non meglio identificati abbia voluto disturbare la manifestazione.

Io posso solo notare che è grazie a questi disordini fra monaci (veri gli uni e presunti veri gli altri?) che sono venuto a conoscenza della notizia e che la propongo alla vostra attenzione: sono così numerosi, purtroppo, i tanti punti nel mondo ove le libertà personali e la libertà di culto vengono calpestate senza molto clamore internazionale.

E' questo io penso un nuovo caso nel quale l'importanza del mondo dei blog e degli amici che lo compongono prende il posto delle agenzie di stampa.

CRAZY BEATING MONKS

Friday april 20th 2007 clashes happened between dozens of vietnamese buddhist monks Khmer Krom and cambodian buddhist monks and one group of six monks not well identified in the cambodian capital Phnom Penh.
The demonstration was announced in a global and international level, requesting for a partecipation of all, and specially of the australian government, that recently has established a strong economical commerce with Vietnam, without asking too many questions about the human rights respect and the freedom of religious faith in some regions of Vietnam, in particular with the region of Kampuchea Krom, along the Mekong Delta and the border line of south Vietnam with Cambodia, large fertile territories where they live very poor ethnic minorities like Khmer Krom, that denounces oppression and repression and the upland plains populations of Montagnards.

The protest of friday in Phnom Penh was the answer to the action of last february 8th 2007 when during a demonstration of about 200 vietnamese buddhist monks in Soc Trang province a large number of buddhist monks Khmers Kampuchea-Krom were forced to leave their temples, at least nine monks were forced to undress of their clothes and other three monks arrested by authorities, of whom we have not news still.

In particular the australian government could have voice in this situation about the respect of human rights and about the religious freedom because the AUS-AID association provided with over 81 millions dollars to start new commercial exchanges with Vietnam.

For these reasons the manifestation of last april 20th 2007 was held, when brawls brought to the injury of some monks and to the throwing of bottles. It is not clear why this small group of six monks not well identified wanted to disturb the manifestation.

I can only notice that it is because of these disorders among monks (real ones by one side and maybe real at the opposite side?) that I knew about the new and that now I offer it to your attention: they are so numerous, unfortunately, the many points in the world where the personal freedoms and the faith freedom are treaded on without much international clamor.

I think that this one is one new case in which the importance of blog world and of the friends that build it take the place of the press agencies.

DIPENDENZA DA MORE – BLACKBERRIES’ ADDICTION

Chi di voi non ha mai gustato il dolce sapore delle more mature, colte direttamente dai rovi, succose e morbide al tatto, rimanendo con le dita e le labbra colorate di succo rossastro e con la voglia di continuare la scorpacciata per un tempo indeterminato? Vi siete mai sentiti “dipendenti” da un frutto tanto da provocarvi un mal di pancia poco tempo dopo?

Bene! Qui non sto parlando dei frutti che la natura elargisce a piene mani durante i caldi mesi estivi quanto piuttosto delle “more telematiche” che il mercato elettronico ha da tempo offerto al mercato occidentale e che negli ultimi anni ha subito una impennata nell’uso dirompente e molto forte. Sto parlando degli apparecchi telefonici satellitari “Blackberry” che hanno preso il loro nome in prestito dal frutto colore scuro.

La notte del 17 aprile 2007 verrà ricordata come la prima “ notte nera” della mora nera: per ben dieci (!!!) ore si è fermato il collegamento che univa 24 ore al giorno il telefono cellulare dotato di posta elettronica collegata al proprio personal computer e caselle postali elettroniche alle quali circa otto milioni di “dipendenti” da messaggi hanno legato le loro vite ed esistenze professionali.

La risonanza che tale evento tecnologico ha avuto in tutto il continente nord-americano è stata grande, il mondo economico e politico ha sofferto come in altri pochi casi la mancanza di aggiornamenti sulle notizie che riceveva in continuazione su questo apparecchietto portatile, ormai strumento di lavoro indispensabile ai molti.

Solo negli ultimi quattro mesi del 2007 si è contato un milione di nuovi utenti da “mora” e la tendenza al rialzo di altri nuovi utilizzatori non accenna a diminuire per nulla. Un vero boom commerciale. E la grande maggioranza degli utenti di posta elettronica “senza filo” non ha avuto alcuna difficoltà ad ammettere la propria forma di dipendenza dall’apparecchio.

In molti hanno tentato di dare una definizione scientifica a questa forma di “dipendenza” da collegamento da “mora”: crackberries” (dal nome della famigerata droga sintetica), oppure anche “screen sucking” (succhiamento da schermo), molti medici e psichiatri si sono dedicati alla materia ed allo studio che approfondisce la nevrosi e la dipendenza: “pollice da mora” o “dito da iPod” (come denunciato dalla Società Americana dei Terapisti della mano), genitori che non trovano più un momento libero per dialogare con i figli e la famiglia (dopo molte discussioni si è riusciti ad imporre lo spegnimento del diabolico apparecchio durante i momenti intorno al tavolo della cucina), centinaia e centinaia di lettere elettroniche che attendono di trovare risposta ogni momento (risposta immediata, accidenti!).

Un rapporto di “amore-odio” tra la macchina e l'utente che ormai vive quasi legato al suo apparecchio “mora” al collo: amore per i casi di lavoro risolti in un battito di dito, “odio” per la pressione che i capi dall’ufficio possono esercitare in ogni momento del giorno e della notte fonda.

Esiste una via di uscita? Il nostro continente europeo e l’Italia sono indirizzate verso questo stesso destino crudele? Esistono altre vie di uscita? Si! La via di uscita principale è stata suggerita proprio da uno stesso utente della “mora”: cercare altre compagnie di telefonia alternative alla “mora” per evitare un nuovo rischio di black-out (Nokia, Motorola od altri, che usano una tecnologia diversa dalla “mora”).

Come per dire: per risolvere l’indigestione da more allora altro non rimane da fare che preparare una nuova indigestione da ciliegie!!!

Who among you has not ever tasted the sweet flavour of mature blackberries, picked directly from the blackberry bush, juicy and soft to the touch, having the fingers and lips coloured of red juice and with the will to stuff with it for a not fixed time? Have you ever heard yourself “addicted” to a fruit so much to provoke such a stomach ache soon after eating it?

Well! Here I am not talking about the fruit that nature gives us handfully during the hot summer months, but about the “telematics blackberries” that electronic market offered since long time to western market and that during last years got a climb with a very strong and explosive use. I am talking about the satellite-connected phone devices called “Blackberry” that have got their name borrowing it from the dark coloured fruit.

The night of april 17^th 2007 will be recalled as the first “black night” of the blackberry: for at least ten (!!!) hours it was blackout with the connection that works 24 hours a day with the mobile phone provided with electronic mail of own personal computer and electronic mail boxes to whom about eight millions of messages’ “addicted” just tied up their lives and their professional existence.

The resonance that this technological event had in whole north-american continent has been big, the economical and political world suffered as very few other cases the lack of refreshed news that was continuously getting with this small portable device, nowadays one working instrument essential to many.

Only during the last four months of 2007 they counted one million of new users of “blackberry” and the rising trend of new others new users does not seems to decrease at all. A real commercial boom. And the very majority of “wireless” electronic mail users had no difficulty to admit their kind of “addiction” to the device.

Many people tried to give a scientific definition to this kind of “addiction”, “blackberry” addiction: “crackberries” (starting by the name of the ill-famed sintetic drug), or also “screen sucking”, many doctors and psychiatry dedicated to the subject and to the study to deepen the neurosis and the addiction: “blackberry thumb” or “iPod finger” (as it was iussed by the American Society of Hand Therapists), parents that are not able to find anymore some free moment to talk with sons and with family (after many discussions it was possible to force the turning off of the devilish device during the moments around the kitchen table), hundreds and hundreds of emails that look for answers every moment (immediate answer, damn!).

A “love-hate” relationship between the machine and the users that finally live almost tied up to own “blackberry” device around the neck: “love” for the successful cases of solved job cases in a finger beat, “hate” for the “pressure” that bosses from the office can make in every moment of the day and of deep night.

Does a way-out exist? Our european continent and Italy are walking along this way of cruel destiny? Does any other way-out exist? Yes! One way-out was suggested really from one user of “blackberry”: looking for other phone companies alternative to “blackberry” to avoid a new risk of black-out (Nokia, Motorola or others, that use a different technology by “blackberry”).

As to say: to solve the blackberries’ stomach ache then there is nothing else to do than to prepare a new cherries ache!!!

Siamo in India, Nuova Delhi, durante una serata organizzata per scopi benefici e per sensibilizzare la popolazione maschile indiana a prendere precauzioni contro la diffusione delle malattie con trasmissione sessuale, HIV-AIDS fra tutte, suggerendo l'uso del profilattico quando si fa sesso. La serata dedicata alla categoria maschile degli autotrasportatori, categoria più di altre sensibile al fascino femminile che si incontra lungo le strade di ogni cittadina.
Ospiti di eccezione della serata il bello Richard Gere e la nuova attrice indiana Shilpa Shetty, per la cronaca vincitrice dell'ultima serie tv "Grande Fratello" edizione vip in Gran Bretagna.

Ad un certo punto della serata, forse per scuotere il torpore del pubblico, forse per una voluta interpretazione teatrale personale del momento, ecco che Richard Gere prima bacia la mano di Shilpa e poi cingendole la vita ed avvitandosi in un classico passo di tango la bacia più volte sulla guancia.

Al momento, a caldo, il pubblico indiano presente alla manifestazione gradisce, ma poi, spenti i riflettori del palcoscenico e stampati i rotocalchi scandalistici ecco che monta la rabbia della parte indiana estremista, che montando gli animi scende in piazza contro il diavolo Gere, che mancando di rispetto con la sua improvvisata sceneggiata all'attrice indiana ed a tutta la nazione meriterebbe la morte e la pronta bruciatura delle fotografie.

La stessa attrice indiana cerca di smorzare i toni ormai esagitati che possono divenire malevoli anche per lei stessa, innocente oggetto del contendere. Noi spettatori esterni alla nazione indiana rimaniamo sorpresi dalle reazioni estreme ad un bacio spettacolarizzato sulla guancia.

Mi viene in mente una delle scene più belle e coinvolgenti del film "Nuovo Cinema Paradiso" di Giuseppe Tornatore. In questa scena il regista ormai adulto si commuove durante la visione privata della collezione di scene a suo tempo (quando lui era un bambino di sette anni) censurate dal parroco del suo paesino siciliano, scene di baci appassionati che per una pruderia religiosa mal riposta non voleva che venissero mostrate alla popolazione non pronta la sera durante la proiezione cinematografica.

Ecco: la censura del bacio, dell'espressione massima del sentimento amoroso fra due individui che le antiche religioni autocratiche in tutto il mondo temono e vogliono celare. Questa volta prendendo spunto da una teatralità spontanea.
In Italia, nel film, durante l'ultima guerra mondiale in Sicilia. Oggi non sarebbe più possibile.

Lo stile di allaccio da voi usato dipende da una varietà di fattori, a partire dal fascino estetico fino all'efficienza della legatura.

Anche gli scienziati hanno bisogno di momenti di relax e di ricreazione, per ristorare la mente ed i gangli mentali sottoposti alla pressione dai calcoli e dallo studio innovativo spinto. Ecco come riesco a spiegare lo studio che non uno ma diversi ricercatori accademici internazionali hanno dedicato per sviscerare i misteri dell'allacciatura delle scarpe con i lacci con matematica precisione.

Quando si dice il potere universale del sorriso e della pace interiore.

"Quando arrivai al tempio mi sedetti e sorrisi. Ogni cosa entra al suo posto". Sono queste le parole che mi hanno fatto a mia volta sorridere, nel leggere la storia di Steve Cooper, giovane uomo inglese di Londra ovest che ha scoperto in India del nord la sua deità, dove è divenuto onorato e rispettato come una reale incarnazione della divinità induista Bahucharaji, patrono degli eunuchi.

Per alcune credenze religiose e spirituali gli esseri umani nascono e muoiono, ma il loro spirito non muore e ritorna in future vite successive. La stessa cosa potrebbe accadere anche per le divinità, indù in questo caso. Steve Cooper è stato riconosciuto una di queste reincarnazioni divine.

Molto deve essere costato a Abe il confermare le poche spicciole parole di scuse richieste a diversi anni di distanza dal 1993, anno nel quale il segretario generale del governo signor Yohei Kono aveva fatto ammissione e riconoscimento di colpa.

Volevo solo rimarcare il fatto, per non fare passare sotto silenzio un ulteriore passo verso il riconoscimento della sofferenza delle donne durante tutte le guerre e durante i tempi di pace dopo le guerre. Quante e tante sono state e sono ancora le occasioni ove in silenzio si soffre e si sopporta quello che una mente umana lucida e pensante avrebbe ripugnanza ad ammettere.

Possa questo riconoscimento essere di sprone per una vera uguaglianza dei diritti delle donne in ogni luogo, in ogni nazione, in ogni Stato, a partire da quei Stati ove proprio oggi le donne vengono ancora imprigionate e battute fisicamente a causa della loro rivendicazione di uguali diritti a quegli degli uomini.

Perché gli uomini di buona volontà ancora lasciano sole le donne in questo momento di giustizia ricercata? Perché ancora il silenzio?

CHI MORDE PRIMA MORDE DUE VOLTE

Nuovo capitolo nella realtà della vita che stupisce per la sua fantasia che supera ogni possibile immaginazione.

Nella giornata di ieri in Nuova Zelanda, nella cittadina di Napier Hill, due criminali dopo una rapina si nascondono in mezzo alle fratte di un boschetto. Il fido Edge, cane lupo poliziotto, li trova e li stana. Reazione immediata di uno dei due malfattori: un bel morso sul collo del grosso cane.

La reazione dell’animale non si è fatta attendere: un bel morso di risposta, che come era facile prevedere ha avuto ragione dell’istintiva aggressione dell’uomo stanato.

Edge ora sta bene, ma subito dopo il fattaccio e la cattura dei due uomini è dovuto ricorrere alle cure dei dottori, con anche una trasfusione di sangue.

I segni di questi tempi: insieme alla sorpresa dei cambiamenti climatici, insieme alla natura che sembra farsi sempre più arcigna verso gli esseri umani, ecco che anche alcuni uomini sembrano ritornare ai tempi antichi, i tempi della pietra, quando il primo a mordere di solito mordeva sempre due volte.

CHI HA PAURA DEL SORRISO? - WHO IS SCARED BY SMILE?

SORRISO DI PACE, GERMOGLIO DI FUTURO

Chi ha paura del riso e del sorriso dei bambini? Qualcuno ne deve aver avuta parecchia, se è arrivato al punto di uccidere due attori clown che nella martoriata Bagdad continuavano a far sorridere i bambini con i loro spettacoli comici ed allegri.

Forse, ma penso che sia questo il punto, si è avuta paura che si cominciasse ad avere meno paura di un futuro possibile, un futuro dove il sorriso avrebbe ritrovato un suo spazio, dove la speranza di una nuova possibilità avrebbe trovato un germoglio.

Perchè l'attore-clown iracheno Fuad doveva rinunciare a dare speranza, perchè lui e la sua compagnia teatrale dovevano smetterla di far dimenticare la cruda quotidianità per qualche minuto di spettacolo divertente all'infanzia sradicata dalla sua innocenza, non dovevano insinuare il contagio della bontà e della fratellanza fra i bambini e poi fra le genti.

Per questa loro disubbidienza ora sono stati sradicati dalla terra che oggi sta cercando una pace nascosta, una tregua dalla violenza e dalla sopraffazione di una parte sull'altra parte, e poi della seconda sulla prima, in una partita senza vincitori.

Ora la compagnia teatrale di Fuad si è trasferita all'estero, forse in Egitto. Una giovanissima ragazza, Sulaf, di 18 anni, ancora continua nella missione del sorriso rivolto ai bambini, anche al cuore bambino degli adulti, in attesa di poter raggiungere la compagnia all'estero.

Non permettiamo che le mani violente spengano il sorriso per il futuro migliore che ci sta aspettando e che non vuole solo pianto e dolore. Non perdiamo memoria di Fuad e di tutti quelli come lui. Sono loro i costruttori del futuro di pace dell'umanità del domani. Malgrado tutto il resto.

Who is scared of laugh and of smiles of children? Someone should have been much scared, if they arrived to the point to kill two clown actors that in the tormented Bagdad they still continued to make children smile with their comical and funny shows.

Maybe, but I think that this is the one point, they got scared that it was starting to be less scared of a possible future, a future where the smile was going to find again one own space, where hoipe of a new possibility was going to find a bud.

Because the iraqi clown-actor Fuad had to renounce to give hope, because he and his theatrical company had to stop to make it forget the harsh daily life for some minutes of funny show for the childhood eradicated of own innocence, they hadn't to insinuate the goodness infection and of brotherhood amongst children and then amongst people.

For this disobedience of theirs now they have been eradicated from the earth that today is looking for a hiding peace, a respite by violence and by overpowering of one side over the other side, then by the second on the first, in a game without winners.

Now the theatrical company of Fuad moved abroad, maybe in Egypt. A very young girl, Sulaf, 18 years old, still continues in the smile mission towards children, also to the young heart of adults, waiting for to join the company abroad.

We do not permit that violent hands extinguish the smile for a better future that is waiting for us and that doesn't want only tears and sorrow. Don't lose the memory of Fuad and of all of those like him. They are the future of peace' builders of the mankind of tomorrow. Despite all.

Un seminario dell'Istituto Superiore della Sanità italiano alcuni giorni fa ha confermato, bontà sua (!), la imminente reintroduzione in Italia dell'uso del discusso psicofarmaco RITALIN.

Per chi non lo sapesse, in questi ultimi anni in vari paesi del mondo avanzato e civilizzato, diciamo quello ricco e benestante, che può permettersi cure mediche e farmaci a tutto spiano (come esempio porto gli Stati Uniti d'America) ha preso luogo in maniera esponenziale l'uso e l'abuso degli psicofarmaci per i bambini, molti anni prima della pubertà.

Tra un lungo trattamento educativo con pedagoghi e con insegnanti di sostegno ed invece una rapida e veloce assunzione di una pasticchetta ecco che sempre più numerosi genitori acconsentono a trattare la irrequietezza dei propri figli con farmaci che sono come droghe.

In Italia ormai sono programmati ed in corso delle indagini conoscitive e screenings nelle scuole riguardo eventuali disturbi dell'attenzione e sulla irrequietezza dei bambini, a volte senza l'autorizzazione dei genitori.

Allarme psicofarmaci: tra un mese il Ritalin torna in Italia. Al via l’attivazione del registro dove verranno schedati i bambini in terapia.
“Il Ministero non offre adeguate garanzie, la medicalizzazione è alle porte”.

Proseguono intanto gli screening psichiatrici nelle scuole senza l’autorizzazione dei genitori. Ma dal Ministero Pubblica Istruzione provengono notizie incoraggianti: il Ministro Fioroni ha dimostrato sensibilità al tema ed interverrà personalmente.

Oggi si è tenuto a Roma un seminario organizzato dall’Istituto Superiore di Sanità (ISS) e dal Ministero per la Salute sul tema della somministrazione di psicofarmaci ai bambini, tema sempre più d’attualità in Italia, dove i minori a rischio di trattamento potrebbero potenzialmente superare quota 800.000, e dove si procederà presto all’attivazione del discusso registro per schedare i bimbi in terapia con psicofarmaci. Al seminario sono intervenuti i vertici delle più importanti autorità di controllo sanitario, nonché “Giù le Mani dai Bambini”®, prima e più visibile campagna indipendente di farmacovigilanza per l’età pediatrica in Italia. Il Portavoce Nazionale della Campagna, Luca Poma, ha dichiarato a margine del convegno: “è necessario informare la cittadinanza che, al di la dell’indubbia buona volontà dei funzionari dell’ISS, le precauzioni assunte dal Ministero per evitare abusi sono del tutto insufficienti: non si pone adeguatamente l’accento sui pericolosi effetti collaterali di questi psicofarmaci, non si promuove alcuna azione d’informazione ad ampio raggio di insegnanti e famiglie su queste delicate problematiche, non si garantisce un consenso realmente informato alle famiglie, non si citano con obiettività tutte quelle evidenze scientifiche che invitano alla prudenza nella somministrazione di molecole psicoattive ai minori. Non facciamo una battaglia di principio – ha aggiunto Poma – ma di merito: se pensano di risolvere con l’istituzione di un registro, pure utile, un problema così complesso, sbagliano. Dove sono le risorse aggiuntive per garantire alle famiglie la libertà di scelta terapeutica? In molte parti d’Italia si rischia di dire ai genitori: o lo psicofarmaco, oppure pagatevi di tasca vostra le terapie non farmacologiche”. Cresce inoltre la polemica per gli screening psichiatrici nelle scuole, svolti senza l’autorizzazione dei genitori. “E’ una chiara violazione delle norme di legge, ed è gravissimo - dichiara Poma – che si ignori totalmente la volontà della famiglia su temi così delicati. Facciamo appello alla sensibilità del Ministro Fioroni affinché faccia chiarezza con una circolare a tutte le scuole d’Italia”. Fonti accreditate all’interno del Ministero Pubblica Istruzione hanno dichiarato che il Ministro ha personalmente a cuore la questione, e sta valutando come intervenire, di concerto con le competenti Direzioni Generali del Ministero, per garantire che cessino questi abusi, riportando la normalità nelle scuole. “Ottimo per le intenzioni del Ministro Fioroni, gli italiani interessati da questi problemi confidano certamente nel Suo pronto intervento. Speriamo che anche la Sanità dia i cenni di concreta disponibilità che fino ad oggi sono mancati, abbiamo chiesto al Ministro Turco l’istituzione di un tavolo urgente sulla questione, a 30 giorni dalla reintroduzione del Ritalin in Italia siamo ancora in attesa di risposta”

One seminar of the italian ISS – Health High Institute – few days ago just confirmed, its grace, the imminent new introduction in Italy of the use of the discussed medicine for mental problems RITALIN.

For those that don't know it, during last years in some different countries of the advanced and civilezed world, just to say the rich and wealth one, that is able to get medical treatments and medicines in a large quantity (like for example in the United States of America) it took place in one exponential way the use and the abuse of medicines for mental problems for the children, starting since many years before of puberty.

Between one long educative treatment with pedagogic professional workers and with helping teachers and a quick and speedy intake of a small pastille here they arrive more and more parents that agree to treat the restelessness of their sons with medicines that are like drugs.

In Italy they are planned and going on some studies to know and screenings in the schools about possible problems of attention and about the restlessness, sometimes without the authorization of parents.

LA FORZA NEI CAPELLI - STRENGHT IN THE HAIR

Acqua ne è passata sotto i nostri ponti dai tempi di Sansone, mitico personaggio biblico dotato di una forza fisica impressionante e dai poteri sovrumani. Il personaggio in questione derivava la sua fantastica energia dal seguire le norme del "Nazireato" che diceva di non bere bevande inebrianti, non assumere cibi impuri e di non radersi mai barba e capelli. Ed infatti, sembrerà strano, fu proprio il taglio della sua chioma fluente effettuato durante il suo sonno dalla filistea Dalila, alla quale - amore fu fatale - egli confidò il segreto della sua forza, a condurlo alla rovina.

Su questa strada delle chiome fluenti ecco che si va costruendo in tutto il mondo un fiorente mercato del commercio di capelli, per aumentarne la lunghezza senza dover attendere il ciclo naturale della crescita, con il metodo delle "extension", delle "estensioni" (intrecciamenti nascosti ed invisibili di prolunghe di capelli naturali, tagliati da altre teste).

C'è chi ne fa un commercio vitale, per costruire opere pubbliche e scuole come in India, dove di fronte ai templi induisti è antica tradizione tagliarsi i capelli lunghi per propiziarsi il destino: prima una volta tagliati si gettavano, ora invece si raccolgono scrupolosamente e si vendono a lucrose multinazionali del capello, forti anche della loro qualità naturale.

Altrove, invece, come in Brasile, se ne fa oggetto di furti e di rapine, come se ne è resa recentemente conto una fanciulla salita su un autobus, lo scorso mercoledì a Rio, seduta al suo posto, quando si è sentita afferrare da dietro di lei la sua lunga chioma fluente fino alla vita per vederla tagliata e trafugata.

Altri tempi quelli quando ci si azzuffava semplicemente afferrandosi per i capelli. Oggi come ai tempi antichi di Sansone non si può più dormire sonni tranquilli, se non si vogliono perdere le forze ed i capelli.

Water flowed so much under our bridges since ancient ages of Sansone, mythical character from the Bible, equipped with a impressive physical strenght and with superhuman power. The man we are talking about had got his fantastic energy by following the rules of “Nazireato” that said to don't drink alcohol, don't eat bad food and to don't cut beard and hair. In fact, it could sound strange, it was really the cut of his fluent hair that took place during his sleep by philistine woman Dalila, to whom - love was fatal - he confided the secret of his strenght, to drive him to ruin.

Along this path of fluent hair here it is developing all around the world a flourishing business of hair trade, to improve the lenght without having to wait for the natural period of growth, with the method of the “extensions”, of “estensioni” (hiding and invisible twistable mixings of hair extensions of natural hair, cut and coming from other heads).

There are those of do a vital trade, to build public works and schools like in India, where in front of induist temples it is ancient tradition to cut long hair to propitiate the destiny: before after the cut they were just throwed away, now on the contrary they are nicely collected and sold to lucrative multinationals of hair business, strong also of their natural quality.

Ieri sera una bella pizza con nuovi amici.
Una bella pizza in nove, quanti eravamo alla fine della conta.
Una serata che bisognerebbe organizzare come evento fisso, almeno una volta al mese, per rinfrescare lo spirito affaticato e preso dalle corse di ogni giorno.
Sono stato bene e così spero che lo siano stati anche gli altri amici.
Il tempo che vola silenzioso fino ad arrivare alla fine senza farsi notare è un indizio sicuro che le cose sono state armoniose e soffuse, come una melodia che si fa ascoltare senza stancare. Bello così.

Yesterday evening a beautiful pizza with new friends.
A beautiful pizza with nine, so many we were at the end of the counting. A evening that it should be organized as fixed event, at least once a month, to refresh the tired spirit, so much involved with daily things.
I felt good so I hope they felt also all other friends.Time that flies silent way until to arrive at the end without to show itself it is a clear clue that things were harmonius and soft, like a melody that makes it listened without being tiring. It is beautiful this way.

AGLIO OIO E PEPERONCINO - GARLIC, OIL AND RED PEPPER

E' notiziola di ieri sul secondo canale della BBC inglese.
Durante un documentario scientifico si sono tessute le lodi dell'aglio nostrano, garlic in lingua anglosassone, riguardo le sue doti di coadiuvante nell'erezione del sesso maschile.
Non lo avessero mai detto! Nell'arco di sole 24 ore tutto l'aglio in vendita presso i mercati è andato esaurito, per la gioia dei produttori italiani e degli importatori.
A condire ancora in modo maggiormente piccante la notizia ci si mette anche la Coldiretti italiana, che rincarando la dose osserva e suggerisce di provare anche la cipolla, lo scalogno ed il peperoncino, ben conosciuti afrodisiaci naturali.
Allora?! Siamo tutti pronti per un bel piatto del classico spaghetto con aglio, olio e peperoncino? A mezzanotte, l'ora delle streghe! ahahahaha

It’s a new just yesterday on the second channel of the english BBC. During a scientific program they praised the qualities of the local aglio, garlic in anglosaxon language, about its talent of co-assistant in the erection of male sex. They should not say it! In the 24 hours all the garlic was sold out in the markets, for the joy of Italian producers and of inport merchants. To put more dressing to the new also the italian Coldiretti (farmers’ labour union in Italy) that adding the dose suggests to try also onions, scalogno (kind of green vegetable) and peperoncino (red hot chilly pepper), well known natural aphrodisiacs.

So?! Are we all ready for a good plate of the classical spaghetti with garlic, extra virgin oil and peperoncino? At midnight hour, the witches’ time! Ahaahahahah

PARCHEGGI BLU

Una buona notizia sui giornali online di oggi, una sentenza emessa dalla Corte di Cassazione con sede a Roma.

Tale sentenza permetterà all'automobilista in cerca di parcheggi urbani quasi inesistenti di non pagare la multa per il parcheggio entro le strisce blu (famose per essere a pagamento orario) se nelle immediate vicinanze dei parcheggi a pagamento il Comune di turno non avesse anche provveduto a fornire un'area per il parcheggio "normale", non a pagamento, quello con le strisce bianche, per intenderci.

E' questa la morale della storia di un avvocato di Quartu che fece ricorso contro il pagamento della multa. La Corte di Cassazione, come detto, gli ha dato ragione, in caso di mancanza di spazi predisposti al parcheggio libero nelle immediate vicinanze dell'area blu.

Ora mi chiedo: qui a Roma, urbe incasinata dal traffico per eccellenza e dove i parcheggi a pagamento stanno prendendo il sopravvento, come sarà da interpretare il suddetto "immediate vicinanze"?

Rimango in attesa di istruzioni da parte delle autorità competenti: i giudici, non la municipale, cosa avevate capito?!

BLUE PARKINGS

A good new on online newspapers today, a sentence coming from the Court of Cassazione placed in Rome.

This sentence will permit to the car driver looking for a parking area in a city, almost not existing, to don't pay the fine for the "blue line" parkings (they are famous because they require a hourly payment) if in the close surroundings parking areas the City Administration didn't offer one free area for the "normal" parking, without a fee to pay, the one with white stripes on the ground, to explain you better way.

This is the moral of the story of a lawyer of Quartu city that appealed against the payment of the fine. The Court of Cassazione, as I wrote, give him the reason, if missing places for the free parking in the close surroundings of the blue area.

Now I ask myself: here in Rome, crowded city with so much traffic per excellence and where parking areas with fee to pay are taking advantage, how will it be to be explained that "in the close surroundings"?

I wait for instructions coming from the authorities: judges, not the city administration, don't make mistakes!?

BLESSED ARE THOSE WHO SPREAD JOY

Blessed those who rejoyce because they bring happiness to the world.
Blessed those who smile to life.
Blessed those who spread their joy on the world with waves of serenity;
they throw living forces, they balance and harmonize, they lighten the painful burden of world.
If all people start to cry then world will fall down under the nightmere, under the weight of pain.
Joy is not less necessary of sorrow for the balance, for the elevation of world.
Also those that rejoyce and smile for pure joy they see and they will see God.
"Those who cry will be comforted".
"Those who rejoy and smile and live the joy of life and life with joy they consolate the world: they give it peace, health".
Maybe this is the deep mission of those who are joyful and know how to be spiritually glad of their healthy and holy human delights.

I FIORI E LA PRIMAVERA - FLOWERS AND SPRING

Con queste parole normalmente conclude i suoi interventi nei vari posti del mondo dove viene invitata a parlare (ma anche di fronte all'uditorio di casa, in Afghanistan) la giovanissima parlamentare Malalai Joya che ho da poco cominciato a conoscere tramite i suoi scritti e discorsi online.

Di fronte a tanta determinazione come emerge dalla lettura dei suoi interventi, sempre ostacolati dai potenti di turno (che poi è sempre lo stesso turno da vari decenni a questa parte) non posso che farle arrivare la mia solidarietà e la mia personale vicinanza, di pensiero e di azione.

Veramente questo nostro pianeta, questo mondo, il pianeta Terra che ci accoglie e ci nutre, avrebbe un aspetto diverso e migliore se gli esempi come Malalai Joya non fossero solo alcuni fiori di rara bellezza ma fossero invece prati e campi sconfinati di margherite e di violette, numerose come le stelle nel firmamento.

In ammirazione del coraggio di Malalai Joya e della sua quotidiana lotta per la giustizia e la democrazia scrivo questo breve messaggio, a testimonianza che la libertà di coscienza individuale ha bisogno di uscire allo scoperto, di farsi sentire, per fare in modo che altri fiori bellissimi, sempre più numerosi, possano sbocciare e farsi ammirare, nella loro unica bellezza.

Brava Joya, ti ammiro moltissimo e spero che anche poche parole possano farti sentire non isolata nella tua difficile vita quotidiana.
